12/1/2020 09:35 | "!Once the debt is paid off then CWD should return to paying shareholders dividends! That is way over the horizon and without LSH the cash cow the can further kicked down the road The big question that needs asking is why would the high fee earners with little skin in the company amongst some of the brands want to remain with an outfit currently still on a dammage limitation strategy .Pedal like mad just to service a debt not of their own making? Especially so if the market is still improving Still many branch offices are loss making. Here are 3 Bairstow Eaves branches which must be doing their brains hxxps://www.zoopla.c hxxps://www.zoopla.c hxxps://www.zoopla.c | hillofwad

10/1/2020 10:33 | Zoopla losing market share, "On The Market" new kid on the block ==================== 10 December 2019 ONTHEMARKET PLC ("OnTheMarket", the "Company" or the "Group") Over 3,000 more agent offices now added on paid contracts OnTheMarket plc, the agent-backed company which operates the OnTheMarket property portal, is pleased to provide an update on its progress in adding agents on new paying contracts. As at 2 December 2019, over 3,000 more offices had been signed under new paying contracts to list all their residential properties at OnTheMarket. The progress builds on the support from thousands of firms already on long-term paying contracts at the time of admission to AIM in February 2018. This announcement signals continuing rapid progress from 30 September 2019 when OnTheMarket had 2,346 more offices signed under paying contracts. Agent offices listing remain in excess of 12,500 offices, up from 5,500 at the time of admission to AIM in February 2018. | w1ndjammer

06/1/2020 10:19 | Well it certanly didn't need hindsight to see this horror show developing .Destined for disaster from the get go In 2013 CWD board repeating the mistakes of the Pru and Erinaceous before them Buying revenue with borrowed monies expensively based on a multiplier times the good years profits Senior equity partners who promptly leave. Thanks for the golden goodbye cheque You coudnt make it up paid out cash rather than grant shares to give them some skin in the game. A lifetime of past f success and contacts never to be repeated again The only success stories amongst listed agents are those who have mainly expanded organically with limited use of the cheque book At least Foxtons kept their hands in their pockets and as a consequence carry no debt | hillofwad

06/1/2020 08:59 | I am recently invested but purely on the basis that a rising tide lifts all boats. It's diffcult to find a less inspring set of BODS sat at Mission Control. Turvart If you have undertaken any reseach you would have uncovered a history of poor decsion making ,dreadful expensive acquistions fuelled by borrowing money and a company slow to adapt to changing market conditions A set of BODS who if they had sat on their hands and passed the port they would have saved shareholders hundreds of millions The recruitmet of thenew COO is not going far enough.Root and branch required The irony is not lost is that it's the deadwood that remains within the brands too in a challenging market .grateful to receive a salary Its the go getters who are planning their move during this period to hit the ground running and migrate to pastures new That is the main risk with the £60m millstone around ther necks, reporting to a main board of makeweights the brand stars might be breaking off independetally | hillofwad
06/1/2020 08:18 | Turvert All the negative posters are ex employees that got culled when the deadwood was cut away. I have been trading this stock for yonks and have seen it all. As the property market starts to heat up CWD will get carried along, we are starting from a very low base so could be a nice multibagger. i will continue to stick around, don`t post much these days but will be watching. 05/1/2020 13:00 | One thing that I do dislike is people coming on this thread and saying short comments on how bad CWD is without putting up any serious evidence. With the research I have done on CWD of which is very extensive, as I'm not a lazy person when it comes to investing then I would value a sensible debate. I'm not trying to make out that CWD is the best company out there but if you do some proper research like I have then your see that CWD is certainly not going bust. | turvart
05/1/2020 11:48 | It's not the best of companies agreed, but at this share price level there is so much potential for it to multi-bag and the property market is showing massive signs of recovery. Personally with the research I have put in of which is a massive amount,I feel that Countrywide are easily going to get through this and this will be a multi-bagger. | turvart |
