Mast Broker Note today suggesting market cap of £50m+ when they get to 55mw.

Corcel will get to 50mw and we are £6m. Clearly our market cap needs to raise substantially. Just needs that 'imminent' lease sign off and we close that gap in a big way.

Even if burrell land deal is signed off then they have the problem of funding 50 odd million for the fitting of 100 or is it 50 megawatt of power. The stig says it's ok a venture group will come along and fund it, "just like that" I suspect any one who could provide the spondulas will be well aware that one of the directors has more credibility as a fiction writer in his past aim history.

Is there something not quite right about the Burrell update? More questions are raised rather than answered.

Why did the company defer "its grid connection obligations" if it thinks it does not need to do so?

Why does the company need "more time to complete the planning application process prior to reaching shovel ready status"?

Why is the company "exploring options to "right size" the grid connection"? Has it balked at the cost of solar? Are there problems raising the necessary cash?

Why is the company continuing "discussions with the landowner of the property regarding the execution of a binding option to lease"? Shouldn't the discussions be with the new landowner? Would the new landowner be reluctant if there is no "binding option to lease" in place?

Too many questions unanswered and all just to get to "shovel ready" status. At which stage Burrell might have a £1.5 million value. Be careful.

The range was $150-600m for WoWo

All academic until we find out how much of WoWo we can get. I don't think RMI have any way to pay the debt off other than asset divestment

Wowo + Mambare always the big pay off here. Think many just got carried away with FGS comparison to MAST

What is Alan Green saying today? Backing up the truck ?

"The drop is silly, I did say a few weeks ago the land owner is retiring and a new landlord is taking over. That sale is about to complete and then the lease will be signed.
We now have confirmation that talks have started re the debt which means wowo will be coming to Corcel IMO.
All going to plan but some people see a delay and wet the bed. Crazy."

RM,

The drop today is beyond bonkers.

An RNS containing multiple pieces of good news, and we end the day 14.9% down. ...
Markets are funny creatures.

But I think that CRCL shareholders could well have more 'undies issues' soon - though not because they are wetting themselves ... !!

Quite apart from Burwell, Wo Wo Gap would be a huge prize, with its mammoth JORC nickel resource.
Previously RMI have only said that they were looking at ways to extinguish their debt to Corcel, but not how ... they could have tried to arrange repayment.

But today we have the good news that:
"Discussions underway with Resource Mining Corporation ("RMI") for settlement of Corcel's AUD 4.76m debt position"

Bearing in mind James Parsons's negotiating skills, demonstrated by his settlement of Corcel's historic Mambare nickel resource partner dispute, then there's reason to be optimistic that Corcel will end up with joint ownership with RMI of Wo Wo ... which will certainly merit a WOOHOO!

Well, selfishly, I appreciated the opportunity to buy more at a lower price than I expected to be able to get. So, a big thanks for naff wording from me. It doesn't change the end result once it gets revalued.

RM,

People's views on the RNS are probably coloured by the share price fall.
If the share price had risen today, views would probably be different.

I'm trying to be objective, and I honestly don't think that the complaints are justified.

We were due a company update, and there's lots of news in today's RNS, so it was certainly a justified release

And the Burwell lease signing is so significant that it is worthy of a seperate RNS on its own, so it's good strategy to give a good general update just beforehand.

Companies do sometimes release news on consecutive days, and indeed last October CRCL released news just two days apart:

26th Oct 2020 7:00 am RNS Placing, Broker Appointment and TVR
28th Oct 2020 7:00 am RNS Exercise of Debt Acquisition Option

Released once warrants converted. It was a poor RNS, poorly worded and seemingly pointless.

At some point this will rerate, matter of a little more time then perhaps originally expected, you have to expect/prepare that in this game.

Rmart, I agree it was a poorly delivered RNS, which as you say could have headlined with the RMI information, which was good to see and one of the valuable pieces of this jigsaw falling into place.

However as I posted on LSE this morning, the CRCL team are experienced enough to know exactly how this RNS would be received, still two more trading days this week, let’s see where we close on Friday.

Agree there was no need for the RNS this morning - it makes it looks like let get something out there to keep the interest

With there actions this morning investors have caught wind news may not come within a month or 2

imminent is commonly used by aim companies

I agree it will be signed with no issues, but you are in a minority if you thing there is nothing wrong with the rns.

Why put it out? why not wait for the 'Imminent' completion?

Or why not just put out an rns about the ONLY piece of real news in it. i.e. Talks have commenced about the settlement of the debt owed and potential wowo commercialisation. that would have been a good rns.

After all that is the only thing in the rns shareholders did not already know.

"The Company has been informed that the landowner is currently managing a land sale process and Corcel therefore expects the lease to be signed with the new landlord following that land transaction completing; which is expected imminently"

BangBang,

You're splitting hairs.

The RNS states that the land sale completion is imminent, and that the lease will then be signed.
As the lease heads of terms have already been agreed, and the sale completion is the only barrier to signing, that is the same as saying that the lease signing is imminent.

There's nothing wrong with the RNS in my opinion.

Rmart - well of course but RNS doesn't state lease will be signed imminently once land sale is completed

RNS was poor imo hence market drop

Lease can’t be signed until new land owner is in place, pretty simple really. I will be done very soon
