05/5/2021 13:34 | Cracking RNS, the company has played an absolute blinder. The decision to shelve the solar project has saved them (and us) a small fortune. Onwards and upwards. | ![]() coinbase
05/5/2021 13:22 | I think the land sale is imminent, the lease will take longer: "Corcel therefore expects the lease to be signed with the new landlord following that land transaction completing; which is expected imminently". Expects. No guarantee. An extension of six months might be on the cards. Payment deferment of six months with the UKPN already. Who instigated that and when? "Right size"? 100MW has suddenly become 50MW. Solar 50MW is now on the "considered" back burner: "additional 50MW of Solar can then be considered as a second phase to the Project". Not what was being touted when Corcel was being compared to MAST. As things stand Burwell is worth about £1,500,000 to Corcel at a struggle. Be careful. | ![]() helpfull
05/5/2021 12:30 | I believe our new landlords/partners will be All exciting stuff.. The drop today is pretty silly and the share price will recover as soon as the 'imminent' lease is signed off. | rmart
05/5/2021 12:14 | HH, I am not sure it is the council land, although it was something I picked on in Feb that was interesting. Rmart seems to know more about the Burwell lease. | ![]() mark10101
05/5/2021 11:31 | Frightening! That is the good news for a while. The inevitable cash raise came and went in the form of the exercise of warrants. The company has earned enough to tide the management over for the next few months. They are sitting pretty. There are more warrants. I stopped counting above 80,000,000. Is Burwell delayed for six months? Shareholders are informed that the land sale is imminent and any deal will follow on after that. So there is no deal timeline; it may carry on to the end of the year. Only the land sale is imminent. Not the deal. Reminds me of Southport where revenues were pencilled in for the end of 2020. When was Southport last mentioned by the company? Some new shareholders will not have heard of Southport. No go at WoWo. Delays for the EL meeting due to Covid. Two years of delays. Not surprising considering the state of PNG at the moment. What's true for WoWo will also apply for Mambare. But what are two years of delays compared to the tens of years of delays already? The amount of nickel produced by Corcel is zero. PNG is a difficult country to do business in. Good luck with that bridge. What, there's more than one? Be careful. | ![]() helpfull
05/5/2021 11:19 | Corcel's Investor Presentation Feb 2021, on its website, shows Burwell financial close as occurring by end the end of June: After the signing of the lease, this will be another major step forward in realising the project's value. | ![]() hedgehog 100
05/5/2021 11:07 | CRCL's statment that the Burwel lease signing is imminent corresponds what I would expect based upon my own research & analysis. My understanding is that this is the site - "County council ploughs £3.4m into farm deal John Elworthy Published: 8:46 AM January 26, 2021 Updated: 9:20 AM January 26, 2021 ... A 241-acre farm put up for sale with an asking price of £3.4m has been sold to Cambridgeshire County Council. It is the first farm bought by the county council to add to its 33,000-acre estate in 50 years. Lower Portland Farm near Burwell was put up for sale after the Mason family – who had farmed it for three generations – retired. Lower Portland Farm near Burwell was put up for sale after the Mason family – who had farmed it for three generations – retired. ..." [...] The typical time to complete the sale of land shouldn't normally be longer than about three months, which would be late April is this case. The heads of terms for the lease have already been agreed, so when the sale of the land completes it should be signed immediately. | ![]() hedgehog 100
05/5/2021 11:00 | It is good to see there does not appear to be depth to the selling as the offer is ticking up with each buy. | ![]() mark10101
05/5/2021 10:56 | 05/05/2021 07:00 UKREG Corcel PLC Operations Update "Burwell Energy Storage Project ... The Company continues discussions with the landowner of the property regarding the execution of a binding option to lease. The Company has been informed that the landowner is currently managing a land sale process and Corcel therefore expects the lease to be signed with the new landlord following that land transaction completing; which is expected imminently" Signing of the lease for Burwell is probably the most important milestone to be crossed, as that was the major potential stumbling block. Once the lease is signed, everything else can just follow on naturally. The fact that it could be signed any day is great news. Bad news would have been a lease delay, or a problem. I would certainly expect the lease signing to break the CRCL one year closing share price resistance of 2.3p, and from there the next stop should be 3p and more. So a rather silly share price fall today, which is presenting a great buy opportunity. | ![]() hedgehog 100

05/5/2021 10:30 | I am not normally much of a trader but I sold 15% of my holding in the 2’s and just bought that back. To get the multiple gains hoped for in CRCL it was always going to have some hefty swings presenting opportunities. Still feels this is heading a lot higher so happy to be fully back in, but each to their own. | ![]() mark10101

05/5/2021 09:20 | Flexible energy storage and production remains a very attractive sector here in the UK for investors, and the Company notes the recent successful Mast Energy Developments Plc (AIM:MED) IPO and implied valuation read-across. The Company continues to focus on this space and expects to expand its footprint in the sector in the near-term." The Company has been informed that the landowner is currently managing a land sale process and Corcel therefore expects the lease to be signed with the new landlord following that land transaction completing; which is expected imminently The Company announces that it is now formally in discussions with RMI in Australia in respect of the AUD4.76m debt position in RMI, which the Company currently owns. 05/5/2021 09:13 | The update today was not entirely what I was expecting, had hoped for more specific detail, shareholders have been waiting a long time for material progress. 05/5/2021 09:07 | wiloughby2, The grid connection is 'SPECIFIC' to this land. It cannot be transferred. The land is going through 2 deals, 1, change of ownership, 2, lease to Corcel. The new owner wants the deal as much as Corcel as there is great value to both parties. Re WoWo, if we get A$4.7m that would be great but imo we will get either all or a large majority stake and operator status on the project. But either way it is good for Corcel. | rmart
05/5/2021 09:01 | Hi Mart, these power plants can only be positioned in certain areas - for example where there is existing sufficient infrastructure, or where local political will dictates etc. You sound like you have local knowledge of this particular land deal, but as a landowner with no formal or binding agreement to sell, would you not be punting round for the best deal possible ?As for RMI - what is stopping them finding another investor to pay off their debt and retain their increasingly valuable asset in the ground. There are becoming too many imponderables for any certainty - it should therefore be no surprise that many shareholders are banking their profits. I have several of these and increasingly realise that they are a punt rather than a medium risk investment.Good luck to all holders. | ![]() wiloughby2 |
