16/5/2022 10:43 | zangdook. :-) spot on! | sir andrew ffoulkes
16/5/2022 09:30 | I don't know why you're worrying so much, 888. Mark has told us several times that we have all the land, and last year he even told the Ministry that we'd met all the Environmental Permit conditions which including owning or having contracts to buy 100% of the land. Don't you believe him? | zangdook
16/5/2022 09:27 | A number of potential providers of finance are currently in the data room so clearly they don’t see the land as an issue to prevent this project moving forward. Mark has on many occasions said the land is not an issue and he is simply negotiating on price with people trying to hold CNR to ransom. In the limit CPO’s will be used and as Mark is on good terms with the President and the Government of Nicaragua, there would not seem to be a problem. | 888icb
16/5/2022 09:22 | Well, it's 99.6% of the "core areas" which appears to be a new and undefined term. | zangdook
16/5/2022 09:16 | To any normal investor, you'd think that having 99.6% of the land would have the share price straining to break out to new highs, but it's not the case here, not by a long shot. In fact the price might be lower than when they had a smaller percentage of the land. A cynic might say that even if CNR got to 100%, some other unanticipated and presently unknown problem might then rise to the surface. That is, unknown to outside investors. This is Nicaragua after all. If that were ever to be the case, I'd want to see legal action taken against the company, but of course that scenario doesn't exist as it's purely a land issue. | q2g
16/5/2022 08:43 | Don't worry those of us that aren't blind and with a modicum of intelligence know what you mean. You have a similar average to me albeit I have the dubious honour of being here a decade longer than you. Good luck to us all. | connect5
15/5/2022 20:23 | Only news i have (without given much details): Apparently there is still a problem with a miner who does not agree with condor interpretation of the sale contract. nothing major, worse case we will continue losing more gold, hopefully condor backs down, and we have peace and smooth road towards land exchange, that is what is important, to settle the price and move on | book5
15/5/2022 18:57 | I am not a "LTH" which seems to be a strange badge of honour on here, but I did buy in 2 years ago with a 50p average. I am no trader, mainly because I believe that when it finally moves, this share will move fast. And I do believe in the company (and MC), or I would have sold out at a loss by now. So when I criticise the missing of deadlines, it is not because I am hoping for some cheaper buy-in price, it is because I want to see a change in management style where MC under-promises and over-delivers, not the other way around. FWIW, I have not sold a single share yet, although I will be tempted once break even arrives. Constantly ramping of a share and over-estimating the positives while ignoring the negatives, is just as bad as deramping. Let's have some realism on here, we are all in it for the same outcome. | quark3
15/5/2022 04:58 | 99.6% of the land now according to the latest episode. Mark sporting a blue check shirt, looking both ready for the business of financing and constructing a mine in Nicaragua, and also I ready for a rumble with the confounded derampers. Put'em up was the message I saw between the lines. Queensberry rules, seconds away. | diggybee
14/5/2022 03:04 | 888 The deramping traders exist only in your head, along with the idea that the Q1 BFS won't be late when (if) it arrives in Q3 and that the land isn't a problem because someone who has several times falsely claimed to have bought it all says so. | zangdook
13/5/2022 17:05 | I am a long term holder (unfortunately) but not as long as some investors here I expect. Telling it how you see it isn't de-ramping. Some people have permanently rose tinted spectacles attached, which they never seem to be able to take off. | q2g
13/5/2022 16:19 | I hope the deramping traders get caught out when an announcement about the BFS and financing are dropped on them unexpectedly one morning. | 888icb
13/5/2022 15:56 | Wake up please if it’s not delivered on a given time it’s LATE, he knew when ba it was going to be well late | dogface3
13/5/2022 15:46 | The BFS is prepared to show to Finance Companies so the fact that they are already talking to them means we are not really losing any time by not publishing the BFS. “ Project finance discussions are underway with potential providers of project finance who have access to Condor's data room under confidentiality agreements.” Mark goes on to say: “ The Feasibility Study on La India open pit is almost complete, the formal announcement will probably take us into Q3. It will put the Company in a position to pursue various project financing alternatives, some of which have already been initiated.” He talks about the formal announcement I think because in effect it has already in 99% final form been made available to the finance companies. He also says it will “probably “ take us into Q3. So it could still happen in the next six weeks. It seems to me that people are having an issue with the delay in issuing the BFS when in reality it isn’t delayed because the people who need it have essentially got it probably when it was originally supposed to happen by 31st March. As the financing talks are underway I don’t believe in reality that there is a delay. It doesn’t matter what the shareholders think of the BFS, it’s what the Financiers think about it. | 888icb
13/5/2022 15:45 | People on this bb keep raising the land as an issue even though Mark keeps repeating that it isn’t. It would seem it isn’t an issue to the Financiers because a number of them are in the data room and talking. | 888icb
13/5/2022 14:18 | Come on 888. Your turn. In iambic pentameter please. | diggybee
13/5/2022 13:55 | It may only be 0.4% of the land that is yet to be bought, but unfortunately it is the core area above the main vein that is still outstanding and which will need to be acquired before long. I am prepared to believe MC's assurances that it is not a problem, but other investors are not necessarily so trusting. The latest missed deadline for the BFS does not sit well with existing shareholders or potential investors either. I hope that there is a good reason for it, as was previously suggested by others on here, regarding delaying it while an interested party examines the data, however that does not quite ring true either, because the BFS is or should be, completely independent of any interest in the data room. What if the interested party loses interest? It happens and then we have delayed for no reason. So perhaps the report is genuinely delayed by CNR being let down after promising a Q1 publication date. That happens too, but it does all seem to be one piece of bad luck after another. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde "To miss one deadline may be misfortune, but to miss two is careless". | quark3
13/5/2022 13:49 | Miners may have 0.4% of the land which could be equal to a high percentage of the reserves if it sits on a narrow strip above the vein Anyway above is irrelevant, we need all land and we need to know it’s cost in land swap terms For a better day tomorrow | book5
13/5/2022 13:16 | Shifty phkkas is a an area I would have thought they need to start distancing from. | diggybee
13/5/2022 13:15 | Known unknowns and unknown unknowns. Everyone knows that for sure right. | diggybee
13/5/2022 13:10 | "99.6% of the core areas have been purchased" What does that mean? I thought buying 100% of the land was a condition of the Environmental Permit. Now there are core areas and non-core areas? | zangdook
13/5/2022 12:56 | Not good but life goes on | book5 |
