19/5/2022 10:20 | No likely at all. I already won bets with two other investors that it wouldn't happen last year? Needless to say I would be happy to be proved incorrect. | connect5
19/5/2022 10:14 | The main problem with gold miners is their high capital needs. If the gold price rises due to an economic crisis, the cost for getting the US$ capital for building and running the mine equally rises, very often unfortunately the costs rise even faster than the gold in the ground picks up in value This is why CNR toll milling could be so beneficial, drastically reducing the need for bank loans. But how likely is it.... | oldiegoldie
19/5/2022 09:46 | If gold goes to $3,000 it means that there has been some kind of catastrophic implosion in the world economy which probably means Condor, being listed, will go down the Swanee with everything else. This is the problem with shares in gold miners. They go down when stock markets go down, and they go down when the gold price goes down, but they rarely go up if either of those things goes up. I have some shares in Golden Prospect Precious Metals (GPM) which invests mostly in gold miners. In late 2020, the price of gold was about what it is now ($1,800 an ounce) and GPM had a NAV of 70p and a share price just short of that. Now the NAV is 49p and the share price 40p. This is especially odd as the stock markets are also pretty much where they were in late 2020. So neither gold, nor the markets, have fallen yet a collection of precious metal company investments have dropped 40%. | dexdringle
19/5/2022 09:20 | I love your positivity, but have heard fantastic predictions of gold prices for years and they've never materialised? Oh well here's hoping this time Rodney! | connect5
19/5/2022 05:47 | All in sustained cash costs of $700 oz versus a gold price of $1700 oz. That'll do me and Bobby McGee! The brokers don't have any shares in reserve so this will fly when news hits the headlines. Get your seat belts fastened in the second-half of this year when the Bank of America has already forecast a gold price of $3000 oz. You can maybe appreciate why First Majestic is fully behind Condor Gold and Silver, with a possible 5 million ounce Tier One project, having come on board at 50p per share and with an all singing and dancing ball mill. Junior and Senior gold and silver miners are poised to take off on the charts. DYOR. | davidspringbank

18/5/2022 15:52 | Nahhhh 888. Biscuit choking is strictly reserved for when they get back to my breakeven 50p. It is at that point that I will treat myself to some Hobnobs. There is then just the matter of my investment having produced zero gain over 10 years. Oh gawd. That really means I need around 60p to break even in real terms. Hold the biscuits........ | dexdringle

18/5/2022 14:27 | Aleoap has reminded us of £700000 worth of warrants due to expire at the end of June. Clearly you would expect them to be exercised as the warrants are in the money. That would deal with any short term concerns about cash before the financing is completed. | 888icb

I recognise all the words - but he then strings then together in a random way that looks like Double Dutch. Unless he is Dutch. dogface3, are you Dutch ? 🤣 | dexdringle
