Was 888 Mellon or Child ?
The speculation ran wild
While no one was looking
The books he was cooking
And more dodgy permits were filed

888, I do worry about you in the real world, unless you are in fact A/ Mark Child, B/ Jim Mellon, C/ either Mr Cornish or Mr Biddle. I reckon with your HK8's you might be Mr Biddle. Or of course Mr Mellon but I don't think he could succeed in maintaining such obdurate and wilful naïveté. This is with regard to the deramping cabal. I can assure you they are a figment of your imagination. With all due respect etc of course, I do quite like your posts bizarrely. If only you could put them to rhyme too though. But if we assume the derampers of your imagination do not exist, for argument's sake, where does that leave your crusade?

When the last 2 placings were done it was assumed that the share price would rise to the levels we saw in 2020. Unfortunately (and this is where the deramping and negativity may have played its part)the share price is at a massive discount to its real value and the warrants are exercisable at a much higher price. The warrants don’t lapse for another year so if the share price rises the warrants could come into play to provide additional cash. A bid would seem to be our best option at the moment unless the BFS can work some magic on the share price.

Bahamas
7940, and previous one
Hmmmm
It seems a wise and prudent assumption since no warrants have been converted for a while and cash is short, time frame seems a bit of a guess though but possible

A near term bid of 50p would be absolutely fine for me. As you know I sold out on the last peak, and bought back in under 40p.
But of course, never stop dreaming 888

There is no promotion of the tipster just letting the board know what was said.It is a valid viewpoint for people to consider. The tipster first tipped this as a takeover target in January 2021 stating that it would happen in 12 to 18 months. We are now at month 17 of that timescale and he has chosen to remind us of that now.
He is not the only person who has mentioned Condor as a takeover target I recent times. There is a good reason for that because when CNR releases its BFS, that is the most likely time for a bid. Further because of a lack of new mines for several years and the now rising gold price, the big boys are keen to acquire near production gold miners.
Mark has already said he is talking to a major about copper and that Major almost certainly does gold.
Sorry if a near term bid at £1+ doesn’t suit your trading strategy but other investors will be very interested in the possibility.

See my post 7884 where I predicted a flurry of activity prior to the inevitable dilution. No warrant holders prepared to pony up again.

"There are indications that potential bidders have already started to sniff around"

What are these indications ? Could it be the increased biscuit consumption in the Data Room ? We demand to be be told !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hark, what is that sound ?
It is buyers sniffing around ?
Well, fancy that
But I'll eat my hat
If their bid is over a pound

This is the text:
“ A microcap company that I recently stuck my neck out for is Condor Gold (ISIN GB00B8225591, CND), a GBP 46m gold explorer focussed on Nicaragua. My research report for Undervalued-Shares.com Lifetime Members dubbed the company Britain's next high-conviction bid target. There are indications that potential bidders have already started to sniff around, and the major shareholders are unlikely to sell for anything less than 100 pence – more than three times the current share price. The current market volatility might require investors to average down if the share price takes another hit. That said, after following Condor Gold for 15 years, it's a company that I believe is destined to be taken out through a cash bid sooner or later.”
Someone else in addition to our Swiss friend predicting a cash bid.

....perhaps they've revalued the biscuits ?

If Condor receive a nice meaty cash bid well above 30p I have a hat that'll need eating.
