I passed from cat 2 to cat 3
In addition I have another interest: Cnr is fair to the miners
Only a private investor here with contacts among locals, I don’t have contacts in cnr

Guys come on this is not a classic cars or gardening BB.
There are three categories of people here:
- Paied PR people or Market Makers / fund managers / people with financial interest beyond being a shareholder alone
- Naive investors
- Investors with grey hair (or no hair at all) trying to altruistically save the naive investors from even greater stupidity, getting frustrated as nobody wants to listen to them.

Many here seem to be in Cat. II, 888 and book are in Cat. I and I consider myself to be in Cat. III.

I've got no issues with said individuals's positivity per se, what gets my goat is the blanket assumption that anyone challenging the party line is at the very least a deramper or a pariah?

Although here it seems to me as though there are just a load of very frustrated long term holders, using dark humour to set a Low bar that hopefully condor can exceed by the time of our/ Ortega or big mark's earthly demise. Nothing particularly murky or even uncivil. And I don't think you would find many derampers or disrupters or whatever who can put their views to verse!Also if you put one view out maybe you can get an opposite one for balance. Which is why I like 888's posts so much. In fact I find it quite inspiring that he can maintain such an unadulterated glass half full positive approach!

they also stimulate traffic, drive advertising revenues up, drive click through's, drive free bulletin board posters to a higher level fee paying subscription etc

connect5 - It's always tough making a decision over investments. There are lots of distractions on bulleting boards! You have been here for a long time and have managed, very sensibly, to get your average price down to a fraction of what you originally paid. The best advice that I could give you would be to sit on your hands and do nothing. It would be such a shame, after all this time, if you were sell up and miss out.

A few years ago, I had accumulated a hefty position in EUA at around 0.45p. We used to get all sorts of strange individuals flooding the site in waves saying the shares were worthless. EUA shares were very spikey. I just switched off and did other things. About six months later, I accidentally discovered that EUA had multiplied it's value many times. I don't know if the disruptors were paid, but I have my suspicions. Perhaps there are people who delight in trying to destroy investor confidence and in causing mayhem, possibly failed investors themselves. Perhaps they had short positions, I don't know, but despite their persistent negativity, EUA climbed from less that half a penny to a peak of 40p.
