09/2/2021 12:47 | Thanks airbag for the link to Jim Mellon. Yes, agree with Jim regarding CNR. Its one to buy and hold. Near term looks good on the chart. The initial target is approx 60p. However, there is a larger target. This is based on the triangle pattern that formed between 35p and 61.5p since last May. That gives an upside projection to 84p, which is fairly close to the 2016 high of 90p. I doubt if I am wrong on this though I could be. I am humble enough to recognise I could be wrong and that the market is bigger than any of us. Mind you given Jim Mellons involvement it does sway the odds in favour of significant upside. Also, you mentioned the 32 min point of the video which was of course on CNR. I would also point to 7 min 20 secs.......Q/E, then 10 min 30 secs.....Inflation just beginning and then 12mins...Gold and Silver. | bikwik

09/2/2021 11:07 | If youre feeling a bit down because CNR has not gone up much yet and all your other gold stocks are loitering around not yet responding to the three day rise in gold so far.....then look at the video.....particular | bikwik
09/2/2021 10:54 | oldie goldie......you see there is enough volume. By the way, you gave a stupendous link to the Daniela Cambione Stansberry research - that Dutch guy about Silver and gold and the coming reset. That was the best video I have ever seen explaining the reason behind why gold could and probably will go parabolic in the years ahead. It certainly sounded like the guy has his head well and truly switched on. Also....David Springback you are one cool dude. Excellent heads up on the gold article on Gold Eagle by Christopher Aaron. Question are you in the STA ? If not no worries. Have you read the free weekly Sunday gold articles by Jim Curry on Gold Eagle. He's very good on cycles. Lastly, that gold eagle you alluded to was in effect suggesting gold is forming a massive cup and handle pattern. You are probably familiar with that. However, just in case other posters are thinking....what is that....sounds like bol...ks.....well it isn't and here's a video to explain it. | bikwik

09/2/2021 09:53 | How have cnr peers been doing recently? | book5
09/2/2021 09:43 | Probably ticked it up because sentiment towards gold stocks is affected by the gold price which continues to rise now 1846. | 888icb
09/2/2021 09:27 | Now Up 2.2% on volume of just 27000 from 4 trades. The MM’s clearly feel it should move up and have moved the spread to 45/48. | 888icb
09/2/2021 09:25 | I hace the feeling we are going up | book5
09/2/2021 08:48 | RNS this morning confirming that all the 31p warrants issued at the February 2019 placing have been exercised which in total has given CNR £1.3 million. It is good that the money has been raised and also that those warrants are fully cleared. The share price is down slightly this morning simply because they closed it yesterday on the Uncrossing trade price of 45.5p rather than the mid price of 44.5p. It is now back at the mid price and gold is 1840. | 888icb
09/2/2021 00:05 | Hi Tester, It seems We will be closer to November unless miners get what they want. Land could also be resolved with enough cash, to buy the land itself, and possibly some plant if in that land gold is deeper than few meters. As someone suggested, cnr is probably looking for new land for the miners. Also CNR probably wishes no to pay to opportunistic associates that signed a goverment petition decades back but never mined on the concession . Regards B. | book5
08/2/2021 23:15 | According to various recent RNS's, Condor now owns 95% of the land and the remaining 5% will probably be subject to compulsory purchase, with the help and support of the government. | davidspringbank
08/2/2021 21:48 | Agree with Tester, even though I am not fully into the pitfalls of negotiation on site obviously. These "not-so-many-loads of money" should not block the whole project that needs to surf the gold momentum wave now. | oldiegoldie
08/2/2021 21:41 | book5, for 187 associates at $3k each, thats only $560,000 or £430k.. Even at $6000, its only £860,000 - for the cost of the ongoing delay to the project, I think CNR should just pay up and forget about it... But yes I understand that getting the other land in return is an issue for the working miners to continue providing an income for them and their families. Mestiza will not be possible though I dont believe, as there may be the possibility of toll mining with Calibre/Mako.. Interesting that the locals have an eye on the elections as well - the company will want the current government to maintain the status quo in November for the next 4 years until the mine is under construction and producing 70k then 170k pa of gold.. but again, another reason why both parties should want to conclude this impasse asap.. regards, T2020 | tester2020
08/2/2021 21:38 | The article in the link below may help long-term holders to get some perspective of charting and how the gold price moves in waves and how it affected the price of your Condor shares. In 2011, the spot price of gold hit $1920 oz. It then retraced some of it's gains and subsequently failed at three attempts to get back above the $1800 level. The $1800 level then became known in charting terms as "resistance". The price of gold eventually bottomed in 2016, at $1045. However, when the price of gold eventually penetrated and surpassed the $1800 level, in 2020, that charting level then became known as "support". Shares, or whatever you are monitoring, will generally trade between the "support" level and the "resistance" level. So if you were invested in Condor in 2011 and buying shares at over £2 each, it is should be of no surprise to you that the share price of Condor retreated and the majority of gold shares would have also reduced in price simultaneously. The price of gold is beyond the control of the management of the company. The fact that some of you averaged down and bought more shares at 19p is a credit to your your belief in higher prices, which has been justified. This article by Chris Aaron, although a year old, it still relevant today. Gold is consolidating its gains, which is a trying time for holders. The constant grinding-down phase in price will drive many investors to despair and can cause them to sell. Big mistake. That's usually when gold will do the exact opposite and will literally take off vertically heading for new highs. This is shown by the righthand green upward sloping line in Chris's chart. I hope this helps. | davidspringbank
08/2/2021 21:12 | Goldie I am Spanish native speaker and I lernt english as an adult. Cooperative leadership wants cash ($6000 per associate) and La Mestiza, If la Mestiza is not possible then land on Nance Dulce, problem is we dont own old land at Nance Dulce. I heard miners may accept $3000. Condor has not responded to their sale price. Miners are not in.a hurry to sell, but.want to sell before elections in case new goverment cancells the development. They support in their majory the current goverment. | book5
08/2/2021 20:43 | With "legal perspective" I do not only mean that it has to be lawful (of course it has to) but but I mean from a judicial perspective. Are you a native speaker BTW? The cooperative members are not individual owners of land, but the cooperative as an organisation owns the land, I assume. So the money goes to the cooperative and they can decide and distribute to their individuL members. We should not interfere too much into their internal affairs but just make sure that the cooperative leadership supports us by offering something the majority of cooperative members is happy with. | oldiegoldie
08/2/2021 17:41 | Oldie All needs to be legal. The goverment gave the concession to around 187 associates , and locals are trying to figure out how to strike off many names from it, it is their battle, and plays into cnr hands. | book5
08/2/2021 17:37 | Probably, from a legal perspective, the best is to buy the land of the current cooperative at a reasonable (in the meaning of low) price icl. Giving money to those living far away. Subsequently a new cooperative provided with new land only for those who are still actively mining should be set up. Alternative: offer a paied job to all local cooperative members, if that it possible. | oldiegoldie
08/2/2021 17:15 | Oldie But if we pay what is worth , after dividing among 187 associates the locals will not agree with what they get bcs they are the ones that will loose their jobs. I repeat the active local miners are the ones we need to keep happy, we dont care about associates living in Miami or Spain, or far away from la India. Majority of associates are outsiders and want to sell bcs they dont mine there, some have never mined. So for the outsiders it would be a windfall and want to sell asap. But condor is cautious with the money, and the LAND we will need to give away...and needs peace with the locals. We want to reduce costs, cant afford to pay more to make everybody happy. Divide to conquer ring some bells .....locals agree. But locals want land. What land will CNR offer? That is the question. It is around 17 Hec, main vein crosses it as well as secondary veins comining out of themain vein. Imho it is significant CNR started the drilling on the cooperative land. Does cnr need to find how much gold is in there to calculate the compensation to the miners? To me it would make sense bcs we are buying a concession from another mining company. | book5
08/2/2021 17:10 | @book I don't know about Nicaraguan law but in my understanding the cooperative as a whole should get a compensation (buying price) for their common land and then they share the money however they like | oldiegoldie
08/2/2021 16:55 | Cooperative was formed by collecting signatures from surrounding villages bcs few locals signed the petition to the goverment for a mining concession. It appears some associates never worked as miners, others live very far away. It appears that cnr and others consider fair to remove many inactive associates from the register, so that the active miners receive a larger share from the proceeds of the sale. It appears that the Associates' Register probably needs a final update, and is in this area where I have been told the goverment is looking to intervine . | book5 |
