Imho a Cpo will not be used to buy the cooperative's land.
But it could be used to buy other land the miners want, and we could trade it.

We do not need to own the last portion of land to commence complete construction and development. We own all the land for the constructed part of the project, our problem would be obtaining funding for this on the basis we didn't own all of the land required to mine open pit. An assurance from the Nic Government that a CPO would be used would resolve a funding issue - it won't come to this as I believe a deal will be done long beforehand.

Toll mining agreement, could be announced at any time. That will open the gates.
To Build plant, we may need to own all the land.

Land ownership could be solved with few million very favourably to us, there are options.
Therefore a toll mining deal will be the catalyst we need.
My options dont consider goverment intervention, but according to MC, this could as well happen
Proguess is been made in the land front too, albeit I dont have a full clear picture of the final option that will be adopted.

This is even more time consuming than watching and waiting for multicoats of old fashioned lead paint drying and as mlangton1 points out a possible failure to resolve land ownership favourably might just be as toxic as old fashioned lead paint.

I’d prefer the land ownership to be sorted before anything else DB. Issues like that can come back to bite you on the backside. I know MC is treating it as a done deal but I wouldn’t build a house on land I didn’t own or have nailed on rights to. GLA as ever

Probably for that number of oz there are more miners?
Wages for labourers are $15 per day.
Aparently good miners make around 750pcm and pay 20% to land owner.
Some have teams working for them.
Good wages in comparison to the rest of nicaragua.

20,000 divided by 500 is 40, so a fair amount, I think: 40 thousand pounds worth, minimum. I wish I earned that!!

Yes 20000oz, and this info was given by MC himself in a video.
, however I belive that probably the total amount is more than that 20koz.
This production is shared among say btw 400 to 500 miners, which translate only into 4 to 5 oz per head per year.
Mining precious metals is probably the main economic activity in this area.

book5: re 4525. Are you meaning 20,000 ounces? At £1000 an ounce, that is £20 million, which seems rather a lot! I know there's a lot there to come out but....! Is the local Rolls Royce dealership doing rather well??
