court noun, meanings;

1. court of law

2. a quadrangular area, either open or covered, marked out for ball games such as tennis or squash.

You all got it wrong

The ball (pebble, problem) is in the court of law

The court system is corrupt anyway.

Let's see what the “referee”; decides; only one team wins

Red you are turning a bit despondent. Where is the princely Pollyanna? What has changed?

Red,

Agreed, but you can't force these things, looking at some recent mining deals it appears to be a buyer's market.

40 % higher POG and interest rates ca 400 % higher. Does still not seem to ring a bell for master investors

Highey - no doubt - the political risk factor has no doubt been an impediment to getting a decent price early on in the sales process.
However this investment was always risky from that side alone never mind the fact that
Cnr has no experience of mining.
That all being said 18 months + into the process and gold now 40% higher than at the beginning of the sales process - i believe the deal needs to get done now.
Frankly Cnr have made themselves look weak by not having timelines and potential buyers have given the impression of waiting the company out.

Time to wrap it up one way or another.

red,

I think making a good deal, especially in a country like Nicaragua may be a little harder than you think.

Can't see this going on for much longer - the latest warrants issued was for considerably less than the pprevious one.

Gold is surely high enough now for Jim to get a satisfactory walk away price?

Personally i think a realistic price is likely to be in the 45-60p range.
Just wish they would get on with it - Hannan have not impressed me at all.Money for old rope and certainly not for expediting a good deal.

Aimho.

"The only hope here is of a regime change, which is very unlikely."

disagree

we're in a world of increasing change

Noriega's net worth is only $50m, Nicaraguan GDP is only $18bn, GDP per head only $2k, Russia increasingly stretched.

If enough forces want a regime change, it will happen.

Populism is on the rise.
