I am a holder here, but the price is weak no doubt about that. I can see this going lower from here as the share seems friendless. The market is essentially saying that the 2020 figures are a blip and next year will be lower.

Make that several large buys. This price is around the 78% fib retracement level from the march low / april high, if this holds then hopefully we move back up.

Take comfort that todays drop was on low volume and then a large potential buy order comes in at the end of today. Fair value here is £6

I bought at 10% drop from my sell price but I too have kept some cash back for further falls.

The chart has been in slow decline for 3 months now, lows becoming lower and not really finding any support which is concerning. It’s edging very near my stop loss at this point, think there’s going to have to be a solid trading update to pull this out of the downtrend

I've held my whole position, and thank CMC for the lovely divi! Only around a month until another trading update, (3rd Sept last year), so I can wait! ;-)

CMC have had more than 3 times the growth in EPS than IG have over the last 3 years yet is much cheaper.

Given performance will re-rate to a more appropriate PE ratio over time.

See what they achieved on a shoe string.
Now they have £100+m in cash and CMCX are obviously ambitious.

I changed my mind late yesterday afternoon and held here and collected the divi. I think the fundamentals here are still very good and going forwards they’re still expecting to make a greater return than pre pandemic levels. I think they will need another strong trading statement in October for the share price to kick on though

forgot ... happy to use the divi on a few more.

This time last year put on 80% after ex-div day in August.. again after a decline in the month before the ex-div date.

In pure valuation/ PE terms CMC s a cheaper stock now than last year too...

I agree.
Solid company. One day it'll probably pay £1 in dividends.

I'm surprised that people are talking about selling CMCX. The numbers are very strong here and of course there is likely to be some pull back after the lockdowns are over, but they have a built up a superb business and the forecasts for 2022 are still vert good based on the current share price.

The cash from those I sold at 453 went into ENT, as of today I'm up over a quid a share :))

gbh2 - I agree. I feel this share price may have peaked. They coined it in during the worst of the pandemic with an overload of new clients but going forwards I think it will be about client retention.

I averaged up on this a few months back but I don’t see much more upside here so I’d rather get out before the ex div for a small loss than hold it in slow decline

I let some go last time we touched 453pp.
I have the rest set to go if we see 453 today, small capital gain but imo it's better than sitting on dead cash for another six months.
