I'm liking the revised guidance for 2022. The market has been struggling to work out what level of performance is sustainable. If it's net operating income of £330m plus (implying a profit before tax of around £160m), I'm delighted.

Cracking results and "overeager's" +20p dividend was spot on, coming in at a cool 21.43p.

Great results and opening new non leveraged platforms will increase and diversify growth further. Argues it will develop in a higher quality business. One has to take a view on retaining client base but I think appeal of overseas/US shares and crypto inspired trading has changed things for the good and will continue to do so. And throw in a whopping div to enjoy.

If we see some decent volume I'd hope it was buying led.
I managed to scrounge up enough cash for 500 @ 482p so I'm as all in as I've ever been, in the hope of something eventful.

Yesterday's total volume was reportedly 83644, my only regret is not being able to find some cash to purchase a few more when the share price took a dive.

It was 12.18p last year, you're obviously quoting the full year dividend.

It was 15p last year.
They are about to announce a doubling of profits so would imagine a doubling of the dividend.
Just my opinion.

There should be a hefty dividend too - 50% of net profit for the year so 20p plus I hope.

Yes indeed.
Results on Thursday should confirm CMCX on a minuscule PE of around 7 :)
That doesn't even include the cash in the bank.

Totally agree UVA, but - though I remain invested I'm not convinced that CMCX is the best placed to profit from it, that said I have similar valued holdings in other companies in the sector so my interest is high :)

volatility is going nowhere. that coupled with the fact that the pandemic has created lots more investors (gamblers) means that the profitability profile going forwards is better than ever for the spread betting industry
