It's quite amazing watching Level 2 over the last few days, just how much downward pressure there is with just a week until results!! I'm surprised we aren't considerably lower, but of course that does bode well for next week, fingers crossed.

I'm pretty certain they will be working on growing the underlying business, plus its a great hedge against any negative event which increases market volatility and trading volumes.

I was into Spread betting at the time so I suspect you're right about it being more of a Traders tool.

Presumably it's a traders tool rather than an investors.

I had L2 for a year before giving up on it because I found Charts more indicative of potential share price movement, however imo neither charts or L2 are any help with Illiquid stocks, it's a case of you believe in a company's potential or simply move on.

It's helpful. Not the be all and end all, but you can see when a share is about to rise/drop. And any large buy or sell orders on the order book.
