gbh2 - same here, I will see how this goes over the next few days but if it doesn’t pick up I might have to sell up before it goes ex divi.

The trading statement was ok but I don’t think it’s done much to improve sentiment here

On track for what we thought was a modest target is not what we are here for, the report rather thin on details, but I will take the confident prospect of £330M turnover and so profits around £120M as a signal that CMC shares are deeply discounted.

PE ratio of a given stock is usually roughly matched by long term annualised growth of EPS.

Well the five year annualised eps growth rate of CMC is 35%. I think that tells you everything you need to know.
