14/8/2015 08:19 | Churchill's stance remains the same it will take as long as it takes, just to make the message load and clear. | ![]() pembury

14/8/2015 08:16 | "There is no fixed date for the Tribunal to deliver its decision on Indonesia's dismissal application, although the decision is unlikely to be handed down for some months." How do you interpret the final line - it won't be months before we get a verdict, but weeks? Then how long after is it before we know the compensation payout? | ![]() wulber

14/8/2015 08:12 | YES many wake up in the morning and look for what they call a certain winner rns. As I said a little knowledge is dangerous. I expect an inevitable dip and the shares bought back. | ![]() debbiegee

14/8/2015 08:07 | The ICSID normally have a confidentiality clause in their disputes and I am unsure whether today's RNS concerning Noors non attendance would need to have been agreed by both parties before being released. It is an important aspect to our case so whether they could stop such a message I don't know. Obviously if settlement talks are continuing, this surely would have been discussed. | ![]() daddy warbucks
14/8/2015 08:02 | Thats cool Daddy,Were my thoughts too but I couldnt have expressed it better. | ![]() debbiegee
14/8/2015 08:01 | I would add that Rachmat Gobel has always acted honourably in relation to Churchill and the ROI.I think he is doing it again now, for the reasons outlined above. | ![]() daddy warbucks
14/8/2015 08:00 | After reading RNS The market should consider : Is an OOC more likely or less likely ? The rest we already knew The only thing we didnt know was that Noor did not turn up Is that positive or negative | ![]() debbiegee
14/8/2015 07:57 | I googled his name and one of the translated news stories said "sacked".Knowing how poor some of these translations are, it may have been mis interpreted. My apologies if this is incorrect and I did say he had lost his job, just in case. | ![]() daddy warbucks
14/8/2015 07:56 | Yes DADDY,there were 100s of reports on the day . I sifted through and scanned many. 1 said he and JOKOWI WERE FRIENDS AND ONLY THEY KNEW THE REASON and that it was their secret. Another said he was honourably discharged. I had the same thoughts as you are having. How could he go to spend time with Cameron if a bit further down the line he had a massive payout. I think he just has to slip back into the background and can no longer do a high profile job because of conflict of interest. | ![]() debbiegee
14/8/2015 07:54 | DW - yes - it was always an eyebrow raising appointment - now that he was to be in the spotlight on foreign trade together with a potential settlement, questions would almost certainly have been asked about his integrity and impartiality. This is not what the RoI want at a time that they are wanting to be seen as cleaning up their act. Not sure he was sacked though - the reasons weren't given to my knowledge. WG | weegeordie
14/8/2015 07:54 | Everything falling into place, I feel. | ![]() daddy warbucks
14/8/2015 07:52 | Still think this meeting date in London between UK & ROI next month could be key. The right time for them to make a clean start imo. Anyone mailed no.10 asking if Cameron is aware of this case which he should be 100%?. | ![]() pembury
14/8/2015 07:48 | A different aspect to this dispute, if I may and concerns Rachmat Gobel.Suddenly after last weeks hearing, he lost his job as Minister for Trade. Is that a coincidence? Was he seen as helping Churchill?ORHad he been the go- between both parties in the OOC settlement?Obviously if a settlement is close, Rachmat Gobel stands to make a lot of money from it. It may not look politically sound for him to receive the payout if he is still a minister.Any thoughts? | ![]() daddy warbucks |
