If something can be stuffed up, then you can rely upon a government department to do just that. At least Cbuy offers any large organisation a tool to get best value for money, plus an impeccable invoice trail. But if it's a gov dept they will take at lest two years sucking on straws, whilst the head honcho negotiates a fat pension package to leave early.

Major cuts for government departments announced today, savings up to 40% for some departments.

Cloudbuy, now is your opportunity get in there, DFH would be an ideal target, they have already shown how to save £½bn.

The dinosaurs running departments should get the message this time, savings need to be made are you listening.

We still have to await the ASME singapore emarketplace launch and the Hong Kong emarketplace -

10 days to go as expectant before the first half of 2015 -

200k profit is obviously for a fraction of that 150mill - duh!

Margin last results were gross 87% -

On 150m in the pipeline (Duncans words) I would hope for more than 200k profit! What's the margin supposed to be??!

That was an hour long interview, yet we are non the wiser

This is another Brit business that would be a different story if it were a USA business on the Nasdaq. Report last year was the 21st August, so another month for the market to drag it lower. If they need to pass the begging bowl around again it will be in single figures. If there is no sign of that £4 million Aussie revenue building up, then they will look really stupid. Perhaps he badly needed that Insti input at 43p?

Forecast is for first profit of £200k in FY2016, so not sure there will be a huge jump in revenues straight away.

It may be conservative but let's face it every forecast so far either Intellysis or House Broker or BB expert has been way OTT. So cannot blame anyone from tempering their forecasts.

Thanks tomboy, so that £4 million being talked up in January ain't going to happen as advertised? That explains why we are where we are, talk turns out to be just talk, proverbial chickens being counted before hatching. Credibility just about worthless, there has to be evidence of actual substantial and rising revenues. Out goings are bound to be significant too as the expansion goes on, but that's fine so long as rising cash flows can be seen.

The australian state deal is in its earliest stage - So at the moment irrelevent as a few problems encountered have been resolved as far as I know -

They've had several deals since the start of the year - We will get an idea of the traction with the revenue figure and I think that is the key figure to look at -

I don't think anyone or any shareholder is impressed with the share price performance which has been dismal, dire whatever you call it -

The placee's at 43p must be wondering what has happened -

On a structural note cloudbuy have a more solid footing than before with an FD who recently bought at around 25p - The major shareholders have not sold any share apart from Pasternak - But that was before so the holdings are relatively the same -

Perhaps one positive could be that we don't see a bullsh!t rns every other week these days? Perhaps Mr Duncan is finally going to surprise on the up side? About another month to go, how low will the MMs work the share price in the meantime?

I also wonder what arrangement they have with Tungsten who use the Cbuy tech. How much will Cbuy benefit from growth in Tungsten? Can they up their margin as Tungsten grows.

Iefrene.....I agree...the potential here is huge...if the 4 million is realised then further contracts should also show huge cash flow, high margins should also materialise.

Just hope results give some hope for a brighter future.

Duncan imo has lost credibility, his interview full of the big nos but the reality has been very different. If what he says in the last 10mins - several billion going through the system out of 250bn being analysed in the last yr, 0.2%-5.0% commissions, $150m currently in the pipeline, yaba yaba was believed then the share price would be much much higher. Either he is not to be trusted period or his talk of the past of these big nos is finally coming through, when will we know? The next results need to give a big rise in revenues.

The share price is saying "we don't believe the talk anymore". It's way past 'show me' time. Like so many software businesses this will either be huge, or it will disappear up its own hype. If that £4 million is true and it's just one of several and growing deployments of the Cbuy facility, then things should start coming right pretty soon. Once it becomes clear that it is a genuine goer, then unhappily it runs the risk of being taken out far too early and cheaply.

They are talking £4 million revenue from just the one Australian state deal, which gives some idea of the possibilities if it's true. As always the potential is huge, but the delivery is desperately slow. They have put a lot of effort into creating a market for home care, but there is no visibility on the likely earnings from this effort. About another month to go before we get any figures, will income exceed spend for once?

It needs a deal to change sentiment such as a large govt dept. The conservatives are driving initiatives to become more efficient and at same time support British business, nows the time to make it happen Ron and gain credibility
