Thanks tomboy, Looks like no one is expecting anything to come of those discussions. Or have Cbuy holders finally reached the point where seeing is believing? It certainly has been quiet from the management for an unusually long time for them. I guess they realise that the market no longer wants hopeful stories, it wants to see some decent figures coming through, a bit of proof in the pudding?

Evening -

I don't think RD has been this quiet for sometime - There have been comings and goings in cloudbuy and the new team and quite a few additions looks much more solid -

Cloudbuy has been in discussions with 14 Visa banks so I wonder if there is further news on the horizon as indicated -

If HK is now LIVE with the F1 institution, and if it is with what I suspect it may be with then that is a big bonus -

Interesting regarding the link with the FI.. Funny I do notice that the cloudbuy offices in Australia are located in the Citigroup building. That would make any potential communication made easier! We should be due some news soon either way. I hope the recent silence means they are busy getting on with business and we will have a meaningful update!

A few years to £50m turnover yet! At least it looks like the first 3 VISA deals(CII in India,Ohio Schools in US and possibly HK) have gone live this quarter so should start to bring in revenues. Singapore is due to go live within 5 weeks so things appear to be heading in right direction.
The burn rate should start to come down considerably from now onwards.
I am intrigued by the new FD purchase- that's why I started my search for news on the HK deal. He will have seen the books and had to decide when to buy stock before end of June or else wait until after interims are announced. He must think more good news between now and then imho.

Rock star! How long before the magic 50 million in revenue ? Looks years away? Understand adoption of Cbuy system takes time! But another cash call under 20p looks nailed on! If they don't start making a profit!

If HK is up and running then over £1m of revenue should be booked for H1 2015. So H1 figures should be decent. Might explain the recent Director buying.

"The Company has over GBP 1m of already delivered work that it expects to recognise revenue in 2015 as opposed to 2014 because the projects launch in March 2015 resulting in lower than previously anticipated revenues for 2014, since the revenue is expected to be recognised in 2015."

Very similar in size to HSBC. If true then it is a big step up in credibility from the existing platforms in use.

I think it is probably early days. The most important thing in my opinion is that it MIGHT be for all HK Government Departments to use. If that is the case then that is very important as the Govt can insist all suppliers have to go on the platform.

The CBUY model only really works if the buyers are sufficiently large. The suppliers will only reluctantly go on as it eventually squeezes their margins.

Do you get the impression the platform is being used much?

G,
It isn't the trading platform as that I think is all in Cantonese. It is on FI's website saying the system was implemented in 3 months.

Might be right, might be wrong hence decided not to post a link on here.

Morning -

RockStar - I think i've found the link to the Hong Kong F1 institution - Its a global Financial Institution - Mentions Visa and the F1 but not cloudBuy

If it is this one then its the biggest F1 other than Visa for cloudbuy -

Paul Scott wrote this about TUNG yesterday"It never should have been floated, the stock market is the wrong place for it. High growth, heavy cash burning companies should be privately owned, by entrepreneurs, VCs, etc. They should only be floated once they are past the cash burning stage, in my view"Although a technical bounce over at TUNG- sadly looks like it is finished over there. Will keep a close eye on TUNG before reinvesting over here.

G,

IF I am right in my observations then it is very encouraging.

I don't really want to say too much more just in case I am wrong. I want to do some more work first.

Well I have done a bit of a search and it looks like HK may be operational as they reported it should be.I can't be 100% sure it is the CBUY marketplace as it doesn't mention them directly although it involves VISA and mentions 3000 merchants as per the news release. IF I am right the Financial Institution is an instantly recognisable name. DYOR etc etc.

Be interested if anyone can find the same as me!! :)

Only a few days until at the end of the financial period so things can't be that bad. Implies things with VISA going well. Haven't had time to see if HK market place up and running yet.
