So there are 199 schools that are using the CBUY platform in Ohio. If this is a success then it opens up opportunities in the other 49 States.

Goes without saying early days but not a bad initial foray into the biggest market of all.

Just waiting now for HK launch.

Strategic Alliance with Bin Shamik done after AGM so how could they announce it? That is from what I can see -

My understanding is that with the ME moving to smart city solutions cloudbuy and DUC will want to be a part of that -

I know these are RNSNONs but showing a little desperation announcing these day after day as they do. Stored up for when the price drops towards RDs margin call.
Why not announce them all in the AGM statement, rather than dribbling them into the market. I note the previous dribbles included several RNSs, CII and now we see ASME, which were announcing launches in the future.
Stick to announcing news as it happens and after it is done, then you won't look so worried about your margin position RD.

One reason why the EFH deal was so wrong!

Just as a point before I go - There are a 30k+ buisnesses alone in the UAE that will look to source from India i.e importers - This is a new dimension in the Kingdom of SA and beyond -

Another area where there is a magnitude of buisness as with the Asia Pacific -

Good Luck -

Strategic Alliance with Bin Shamikh

cloudBuy plc (AIM: CBUY), the global provider of cloud-based e-commerce marketplaces and B2B buyer and supplier solutions, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Bin Shamikh Group to promote cloudBuy's products and services in the Middle East and North Africa.

Bin Shamikh Group is a well-established Meccan business set up over 30 years ago (in year 1402 Hijri) by a reputable family that has a diverse set of trading interests. The agreement has been entered into through cloudBuy's partner in the region, DUC International Consulting.

Rock Star - I think the door is opening to more contracts.

Cloudbuy is debt free -

Apart from the larger emarketplaces i.e CII, ASME, HONG KONG FI and SYNISE there have been a few further contracts in US, AJMAN FREE ZONE, greement with the Ministry of Economy of a Middle Eastern state and today the Salvere Emarketplace -

Critical mass for the platform of choice - There is a bit disruption going on here and I wonder if the big players are watching -

I have no issue with today's news being rns'd. It may not be a massive contract but it demonstrates progress. We know the Care market is worth £50m pa split amongst the 115 local authorities so this one might be worth a few hundred thousand over the next few years. It is more about making sure they create the critical mass so they become the go-to platform of choice in the sector. That is now 4 contracts they have in the sector. breeze-e is the most interesting contract as they have visions of rolling out the platform across multiple councils.

The elephant in the room remains the NHS. If only they were to adopt CBUY centrally then that would be a £50m pa contract in one go. At this point we can all but dream about something that seems common sense in helping achieve the £20bn cost savings they need to make.

It's just I've heard so much from the Duncans over the last few years, leading to no real increase in revenues & more debt. How long before the paltry revenues increase. I remember him saying £50 million a year at this stage.

I guess they do no harm harebridge, the more the merrier, helps instil confidence in the system.

I notice they are making a charge to suppliers to join the market space, and will take a repeat % of the value of trades. At least once established it will sit there and quietly bring in a permanent income stream.

New online marketplace powered by cloudBuy to meet growing social care needs

cloudBuy plc (AIM: CBUY), the global provider of cloud-based e-commerce marketplaces and B2B buyer and supplier solutions, is pleased to announce the expansion of its social care marketplace offerings.

cloudBuy is working in association with Salvere, the social enterprise CIC, to provide a fully managed, customer-facing care marketplace to help meet the challenges of the Care Act, which recently came into force. The Care Act means local authorities must ensure citizens can access the information and advice they need to make good decisions about care and support.

The Salvere-branded care marketplace will enable citizens to directly contact social care experts to guide them in choosing care options. This means they can directly service their needs, thus assisting local authorities to meet the requirements of the Care Act as efficiently as possible.

Salvere has a strong track record in the support, planning and brokerage of care products and services. To date Salvere has focused on servicing the Lancashire region, a market which it estimates to be worth over £300m. It has built up relationships with over 350 care suppliers of all sizes servicing this region. This will provide a solid base for the launch of the marketplace, with plans to expand to other areas.

cloudBuy will charge a fee to on-board suppliers to the Salvere marketplace and take a percentage of the value of transactions which will flow through it.

cloudBuy CEO Lyn Duncan said, "We know how important the changes driven by the Care Act are to every local authority and to citizens making care choices for themselves or loved ones. UK adult social care is under increasing pressure and the current model is no longer sustainable. The obvious solution is to bring citizens and suppliers together via a friendly environment on the web. This can provide a purchasing experience similar to the online shopping sites with which everyone is familiar and offer citizens a selection from a wide range of care products and services."

Salvere's Chief Executive, Stephen Sloss said "One in five of the adult population need social care support. Our marketplace, powered by cloudBuy, will ultimately enable millions of people across the UK to access care and support with ease and confidence."

The Salvere Care Marketplace, powered by cloudBuy, has G-Cloud approved status and is the only fully managed e-marketplace listed on the UK Government Digital Marketplace.
