26/7/2017 12:43 | It sometimes pays to bail on a spike, rather than be a long term holder. I really thought we would get something tangible from the recent court judgement, whichever way it went and now we seem to have some active shareholders wanting to block further share capital increases? Hard to know which way this is going or what exactly is happening or supposed to happen. | nick rubens

25/7/2017 13:44 | The loan note conversion is minor, 74k out of 2.475k, 3% of the total. You can look at it two ways. It either shows, as the Chairman wants us to believe, confidence in the future, or it is simply a way of boosting the share price by swapping one potentially worthless investment for another. | mylands
25/7/2017 13:20 | More loan notes converted. DC | daicaprice
25/7/2017 10:34 | The recent share price climb and subsequent falling away is reminding me of the 'Ole Grand Duke of York' song I sang at school. | nick rubens
25/7/2017 09:14 | If this drops to 0.75p on no further news I'm averaging my remaining holding down to 1p. It will be worth the punt. | mylands
23/7/2017 10:49 | RKB my partner is coming up to meet me after my business meeting - hence why it may not be possible to attend the AGM - we will see (as my gout is so bad at the moment I can hardly walk). I wish to draw a line under our disagreement on our posting methods.. back in 2012 I had an employer enhanced transfer value offer on my closed final salary scheme which I accepted (in hindsight if I had waited the new pension rules would have been better for me now to transfer pre retirement). I put my considerable pension pot into HL SIPP and became an active trader (usually making early morning and lunchtime trades due to work). I felt at ease making my own choices because my work deals with investments.. I had successes and losses ... and perhaps you are right that having a significant amount in 1-2 shares and having more time to research the companies is a better option than going for shares at low share price points and not doing as much research - except reading the trading updates/accounts etc. We all have our own methods. It's not my style to go off on telling everyone what I am doing on a daily basis - but have to accept other posters - like you - find it useful to include this element as part of your post. FYI my email address is (which I will remove later) | knigel
22/7/2017 15:55 | Thank you Longshanks RKB | rkbeekeeper
22/7/2017 14:18 | Classy gigs Knigel: sounds like tourist hell to me. There are plenty of better venues in London if you want a good time. RKB is out in Italy establishing what facts he can about the assets. Given the density of the smoke screen put up by the BoD no one knows anything much. It is unfortunate that shareholders are having to do the job that the auditors should have been able to do when reviewing the annual report. | longshanks
22/7/2017 13:38 | I thought AGM was in italy..so whats beekeeper doing there if agm's in london? or is he there and its just a con trick? | temmujin
22/7/2017 12:10 | Yep quite a rant .. but I'm sitting in a chair using my laptop and watching BBC news .. thanks to having painful gout... might watch The Open later... In London next week so might decide to go to the AGM but have tickets for The Tower of London and a night at The Ritz .. if able to go due to the gout and... zzz...... | knigel
22/7/2017 12:00 | I HOLD CLP SHARES GOING BACK TO BRAINSPARK DAYS ... AND (!) HAVE BEEN ON LSE FOR SIX YEARS WITH 18500 POSTS ON COUNTLESS SHARES AND WELL KNOWN AMONGST REGULARS AND ACTIVE TRADERS THERE ... YOU HOWEVER APPEAR TO POST VIRITUALLY ON THE ONE SHARE .. FINE BUT RISKY HAVING ALL OF YOUR EGGS IN ONE BASKET .. BUT PERSONALLY FIND YOUR LONG WINDED POSTS USUALLY OFF TOPIC AND PROBABLY NOT EVEN WITHIN LSE RULES .. JUST STICK TO POSTING ABOUT YOUR FINDINGS ON CLP (which are appreciated) INSTEAD ON THE DRONING ON ABOUT CARS - RECHARGERS - WERE YOU ARE TRAVELLING ETC -ALL VERY INTERESTING BUT LSE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE A/YOUR BLOG! | knigel
22/7/2017 10:51 | You don't have to read LSE RKB | rkbeekeeper
22/7/2017 09:41 | Yes the LSE thread is more like becoming the RKB daily diary for his life. Maybe it helps putting all your daily troubles online .. but it's suppose to be all about discussing the merits of investing in CLP. Too many egos over there sadly. | knigel
22/7/2017 09:01 | what is that supposed to mean? some of us have to make a honest living working while others screw investors naked shorting and the like...i mean this share if you look back 10 years has probably fallen from 200p to now 1p...time these barstards thought about shareholders or could be trouble at AGM...trust me | temmujin
22/7/2017 08:44 | van in a car park in chapel in somerset... this is starting to make sense now. | brando69 |
