A very sad day for shareholders but in the end the court sided with the company because at risk was 25,000 jobs if the administration order was not granted. That its taken ten months from filing for C11 to UK administration shows this was not an open and shut case as many had argued. Early 2023 was the initial date given by Cineworld to leave C11.

Time to move on and learn from the experience.

No PWhite was wrong and has admitted if it goes into administration he would admit he got it all wrong. It went into admin today so I have a feeling JN won't be eating sugar lumps out of his hand afterall. Shocker!

RNS 28/07/2023 - "As previously announced, the Listing and the Admission to Trading are expected to be cancelled at 8.00 a.m. on the business day following the appointment of administrators in respect of Cineworld Group plc - assuming this occurs on 31 July 2023 as expected, the Listing and Admission to Trading will be cancelled at 8.00 a.m. on 1 August 2023."

My understanding is that administration was not approved on Friday only that the board approved the plan to appoint administrators on Friday. An application to the High Court for an administration order is expected to take place today with the shares cancelled from tomorrow.

Hello Mr. X,

We have 2 firms that seem to be interested in taking our case on a no win, no fee basis. We will be meeting with one of them again on Tuesday and hope to meet with the other again soon after.

At his point, the more shareholders we have working with us, the better so we are also trying to reach out to as many large shareholders as we can to increase that number.

Now that the matter is with the high court we also plan to write to them to make them aware of our grievances.

Yes I got the Color/BW thing half way through and it made me think they had shot the whole film then the director realised you needed a PhD to understand it so added some color coding for us mortals. Anyway it was quite good but not super entertaining. When I go to movies I want to take my brain out a bit and relax and feel entertained.

The best entertainment will be PWhite admitting he got it wrong on Monday and we can all gloat. Just kidding and nice he actually admitted that this would be the final nail in the coffin.
