JakNife - "Where's PWhite73 to tell us that the administration is illegal"

Stop lying I never said that. How can administration be illegal when it is a process sanctioned by the High Court.

The decision to implement the C11 process in the UK was stated in virtually every docket. My argument was and still is that when they try to move the C11 process to the UK is when the fight for the shareholders really begins.

tron22 would best be saving his time and money for a legal challenge in the UK where the Plc is registered.

And the funders of the rights issue are the creditors There's no third party money

I've never seen speculation on a company about to go into admin being wrong; the journalists usually get it from the bankers working on it The rights issue isn't a bonus for creditors; it just shows that without extra cash there's no chance of a creditable business case working

I think that sky article is just speculation!
If I was buying that 800 million rights issue I would be thinking that if they could treat the present shareholders ( and some are company employees ) so badly , what is to stop them doing the same thing to me ?

Good that they are getting setup in advance of the 28th so that they can put CINE into admin quickly.

tron343,

"Every stone needs to be unturned in order to leverage a better deal that includes shareholders."

What makes you think that shareholders deserve anything?

Your company has defaulted on its debts and has had to negotiate with its creditors in order to convince them to write off $4.5bn of debt in order to restore the balance sheet to a sustainable level. If anything, shareholders should be forced to put money into the company in order to repay that $4.5bn - which equates to about £2.60 a share.

Cineworld's shareholders are expected to receive nothing. If, in the very likely event that Cineworld's Creditors are not repaid in full, Cineworld's shareholders will be wiped out. Shareholders are the high risk investors at the back of the queue to receive anything. But then all the LTH should already know this. I wonder what valuation the BB Cineworld valuation experts would put on Costain, Profitable, Over a billion £ revenues, oh and an enterprise value of around £35 Million.
