The hearing on 28/06/2023 is a mere formality. The judge has already told the shareholder he cannot modify the plan only a proponent of a plan can. This means only someone who is putting serious money on the table ($billions) can. Furthermore the judge has urged the shareholder to get himself legal representation which is highly unlikely given the cost.

From what I can see nothing has changed UK shareholders are still relying on the C11 proposals coming unstuck in the UK courts to retain value.

As per today's RNS, Cineworld expect to emerge from Chapter 11 in July 2023. Shareholders should expect to be wiped out. From today's RNS:
"As previously announced, in light of the level of existing debt that is proposed to be released under the Group Chapter 11 Companies' plan of reorganisation, the Proposed Restructuring does not provide for any recovery for holders of Cineworld's existing equity interests.".
Also, from today's RNS:
"The Group Chapter 11 Companies now expect to emerge from the Chapter 11 cases in July 2023. The Group Chapter 11 Companies remain committed to emerging from the Chapter 11 cases as expeditiously as possible. ".
