I went to Fast and Furious 9 on Sunday, 1pm showing in Stevenage on the IMAX screen.. I wont talk about the merits of the film but screen 1 was just below current level of capacity given the current restrictions. This, in the middle of a sunny day seemed a good turnout to me - and people were eating huge tubs of overly expensive popcorn... When I came out of the screen all the counters were open for food and drink etc and all had queues. Its plan to see people still want to visit the cinema instead of sitting at home on Netflix/Disney/Amazon etc.

Yes you are supper at going back on comments, I have no problem with that.

I did not laugh at any comment of going short, so stop it.

You are like the poster no fool.

Yes post the ones that stated I bought in the 20p's too then.

LTH - I see very little if any recovery for equity. This is not just because of the trading situation but also because of the reluctance of the large holders to dilute themselves in a much needed equity raise. Should have done that a few of months ago.

I did not, I have been saying good to have both sides short and
long, so stop your rubbish towards me.

Enough.

hpcg, given the disaster that was 2020 as far as cineworld was concerned ($3 Biilion pre tax loss, loss of $2,651.5 Million attributable to equity holders), and given current high risks and uncontrollable nature of future revenues, I am very surprised that the share price is as high as it currently is.

YOU'RE telling ME what superfluous means?
Firstly it doesn't mean 'usually' (unnecessary). Where did you get that definition from? It means unnecessary, beyond requirement etc. - ie always.

Secondly by 'FELLAH', I assume you mean 'Fella' as in the familiar form for 'fellow'/ 'bloke'? I am the latter, but not a middle eastern peasant farmer (which is the former). No - don't bother going there - it's too obvious.

So your spelling IS also as bad as your punctuation. Want to try again?

to be brutally honest, we refer to him as millstone investor because everything he touches goes wrong - just like his prediction that cineworld would go bust by June 2021.

his failed rampings on boohoo are legendary, we just laugh at him

They need to get to 75% of attendance by September to meet their middle target. Then it is still a going concern, but will have breached debt covenants. The company is presumably ahead of the severe target, but we won't know by how much until H1 results are released. Direction of travel in attendance will be very important or senior and secured debt holders will be making moves to protect themselves.

Careless spelling in on-line posts and blogs - especially when there are rapid exchanges- is not such a great sin as people write at pace and it is more important for them to get their point across. I would therefore recommend you concentrate on challenging their ideas and arguments rather than their orthography. However, if you MUST denigrate their efforts, then please ensure that your own submissions are beyond reproach. Maybe MILLSTONE INVESTOR is not the greatest speller, but his punctuation can't be any worse than yours!

You offered:

(did we forget to mention, MILLSTONE INVESTOR cant spell as well as being wrong and losing money on everything he touches)

I propose:

(Did we forget to mention MILLSTONE INVESTOR can't spell as well as being wrong and losing money on everything he touches?)

Your parentheses also seem superfluous, but I will let that go. Pot, kettle, black?

(Possibly, we forgot to mention the fact that MILLSTONE INVESTOR can't actually spell, as well as being ALWAYS wrong and losing money on everything he touches.)

MILLSTONE INVESTOR prophesied Cineworld's demise, here on ADVFN.

Everybody laughed.

and then everybody bought their cine admission tickets, the popcorn, the Haribos and the drinks and enjoyed the movies.
