Smartie, I agree, there is so much debt. It is difficult to determine the precise amount of lease liability debt on the balance sheet because Cineworld are using a very high incremental borrowing rate of upto 26.4%. This is from the cineworld's 2020 annual report: "On transition, the incremental borrowing rates applied to property leases ranged between 2.6% and 11.7%. The asset specific incremental borrowing rate applied to each lease was determined by taking into account the risk-free rate, adjusted for factors such as the credit rating linked to the life of the underlying lease agreement. These rates are intended to be long term in nature and calculated on inception of each lease. The incremental borrowing rates applied to property leases for the COVID-19
amendments ranged between 5.9% and 16.8% for modifications between March and September and ranged between 17.9% and 26.4% for modifications between October and December."

Well that is nice of you to say and thank you.

I like a good thread of both as mentioned as although I
have my thoughts and reasons a shorter could just mention
something I have not covered and in turn learn something.

We all know the debt situation but I just feel banks and government
must be seen to give all business a chance, I hope that applies to
cine.

I am always learning and most have more intelligence than me so my
ears and eyes are always open.

Just a comment on the fact that although we have different opinions as to value of Cineworld you remain unfailingly polite.

Unlike some of the biscuits rabble rousers on another board

You are to be commended

There is no science behind my views just my convoluted brain and gut feeling
Hope it works out for you and like-minded investors

Good luck

srp,

Yes, certainly a strange week and the timing of the interview with Mooky is interesting.

Schools out soon, new films too - I will sit and wait. I'm certainly better off today than I was yesterday ! A bid would be lovely but I cant see it just yet but I am still interested in the buying of the share by the Chinese...

Thank you, for no reason, MI and whitebox closing shorts, active
going longer and amc up 14% and up pre market.

Also the interview stated viewer numbers ok and could have been better.

I feel with the new films will be coming thick and fast now so the 45 day
will be better than then past 60 day, as we could have an extremely
busy 45 rather than an ok 60. More films for busier 45 day viewing.

We shall see.

Then the mention of a bid by poster, I would be very surprised if
we do not get one very soon.

dyor a must all.
