26/11/2015 09:52 | rossannan, I'm not concerned either other than dilution now wouldn't be appropriate. My point was that, given CHL have in excess of over 12 months cash they more than satisfy the going concern criteria. I don't feel it necessary for them to commence 'early stage discussions' on funding prior to the result of the hearing. Given that the odds look very good for CHL winning the hearing on forged documents then I'd rather the directors wait before flagging up funding talks in an RNS. The share price will obviously take off in the event of a win and then that's the time for funding talks. Unless of course ROI capitualate immediately and a strict timetable on early settlement payment is agreed, in which case funding will not be needed. | nick2412
25/11/2015 18:20 | May be they're going to broker a deal with Burford Capital, a commercial disputes investor? haha | frak
25/11/2015 17:27 | These statement are also partly to assure Roi that if neccesary we can afford to go all the way. That was 1 of the main reasons they used for wanting to have a forgery case and the had probably hoped we would not last this long. | debbiegee
25/11/2015 16:41 | The presentation by Churchill Mining will be given by Nicholas Smith, the Managing Director, who will provide an update on the company's plans for 2016." Maybe they have something to say ? Surely this wpuld come in RNS form 1st ? We are expecting some sort of update anyway as the last RNS ? | debbiegee
25/11/2015 16:33 | Just spent some time going back through the docs to try and find the rate at which interest accrues on the Claim from July 2014, cannot find, what i can remember is that it is something like 10% from memory, or at least very high. Not massively important at this point, but i do remember thinking that it is another incentive for the Indo's to settle up | melodrama
25/11/2015 14:45 | With the present situation of not knowing what their finances will be, I am not sure that he can say very much on the plans for 2016! In addition, I don't know how a presentation along the lines of "we will continue to fight our case with ICSID and look for an ooc settlement at the same time" will be of much interest to an investment community. 25/11/2015 14:38 | would agree ohisay! Also just seen... StockMarketWire: "The presentation by Churchill Mining will be given by Nicholas Smith, the Managing Director, who will provide an update on the company's plans for 2016." | frak
25/11/2015 14:34 | Isn't it just to get the price up/keep it up for the next fundraising ?- because they have to keep the coffers filled and don't like unnecessary dilution anymore than the rest of us. Nothing the matter with that and it takes a certain amount of chutzpah to do it when all is said and done. | ohisay
25/11/2015 14:18 | I suspect the presentation is just a sideshow - CHL probably figure there is little to be lost in doing it, and increased awareness as bones30 says certainly can't do any harm. At the end of the day though it won't change what ICSID decide. If that is as we expect the share price will be hurtling north at an unstoppable rate as soon as the outcome is apparent. It may even make the June spike in the share price look trifling in comparison as the share price undergoes a fundamental rerating in anticipation of the endgame. GLA FC | flyingc
25/11/2015 13:41 | Perhaps they want to promote the company to shift some of the overhang created by the last raise? Let's face it, this is under the radar. | bones30
25/11/2015 13:38 | thx gerd212.. I missed that bit! Hmm? Yes, j0no5, it does seem odd! I also thought these things were for investing in projects. Maybe we'll get an RNS before Tuesday? Anyone going? | frak
25/11/2015 13:32 | How aim companies go through difficult times and come out the other end ? | debbiegee
25/11/2015 13:26 | Frak - i am surprised to see chl presenting. i would be interested to hear what they have to say, and why they are promoting a company while in litigation with no active projects? i doubt it would be used as a platform to raise funds!? maybe they have a new project on the horizon? though the chl summary only mentions the EKCP with no mention of the licensing issues! | j0no5
25/11/2015 13:24 | MD also presenting. (Nicholas Smith) | gerd212
25/11/2015 13:09 | Here's the link if peeps haven't already found it | frak
25/11/2015 13:03 | Yes, good musings FC.. let's hope the recent hearing and briefs make their decision easy and thus quick! On a separate note it does seem that DQ is presenting next week at the 'Shares' bash (Nice find bones30!). Why though? I'd love to hear other views but all I can conclude is that CHL are confident of a positive outcome on the forgery hearing and are preparing for fund raising for the next stage. I see from one report that the average time taken for an award to be made is over 400 days after a 'merits' hearing. It would appear the occ settlement is dead in the water for the moment at least. | frak |
