02/12/2015 16:06 | Blimey. It will have to be a long cheque book to accommodate all those digits. USD 2,000,000,000 Edit: That's about £10 per share. 58 times the current share price. | pb01
02/12/2015 15:56 | Pennyfalls- i was also at the conference yesterday and DQ actually thought a claim for $2bn might have been more appropriate... he wasn't joking! | sos100

02/12/2015 15:31 | Debbie.. No doubt CHL's case is strong, but sticking to £1.3Billion is just part of the game. Anyone going into a case demanding that amount must stick to it, and unswervingly - it shows confidence, dents the opposition and shows strength. Remember, the plast set of lawyers were apparently frowned upon for suggesting CHL should "at least" get their mine cost/investment back.. Always go in high and stick to it...It's how negotiations are done, from a position of strength. | pennyfalls
02/12/2015 15:25 | Edie post 729 Chl will Not settle for less than the 1.3bill ???????????????????? It looks like not only are ROI being stubborn but so are CHL. They muct be confident !!! I wouldnt mind to wait longer for more but also wouldnt mind a decent settlement as long as Im handsomely rewarded. | debbiegee

02/12/2015 14:31 | Ed - excellent notes. Very positive. RoI are really screwed. Its strong words that CHL will not settle for less than 1.3Bn. I thought they would have been happy for 1.2Bn if settlement came tomorrow lol. That's still over 600p / share Wow | pb01

02/12/2015 14:16 | Hi all, I went last night and spoke to DQ and Nickolas at great length There was never a ooc settlement The Roi case is an absolute shambles They spoke to me about the story from beginning to end There was no breach committed The court know the Roi is a shambles but have to be professional and give a fair hearing The Roi have changed their story numerous times and the courts know it Mr Noor was asked to do a video link by court but said "he was too busy"! Mr Noor was asked to revoke the license by the land owners once they realised the value of it An Indonesian forestry specialist was brought into court who literally said that they had never in their 40 yrs in the job seen anyone's license revoked CUs of breach of forestry Chl will Not settle for less than the 1.3bill The court members are the same ones who dealt with a similar case 15 yrs ago and are aware this case is similar as to how roi behaved then. That case was lost by roi. The reason roi have not given up is because of "pride" David Cameron is aware of case Their claim of abolishing the Bits is rubbish, they did the Netherlands and China was nxt but nothing has happened, so no consistency whatso ever We are looking at June for final settlement But when the next update comes out its going to really bad for roi PLEASE remember these are my interpretations only so do your own research. Imo this is really looking good for chl as even Imo the courts are embarrassed by Roi their story keeps changing its shocking. Sorry I've anything out and remember this is my interpretation only. Thanks | edie5
02/12/2015 14:13 | or before and maybe as awaited result becomes clear ? | debbiegee
02/12/2015 13:36 | I think the share price was 18p when they said our assets excluding ECKP were only valued at 1/2 of the market value . I understand that to mean at this moment only 8p is priced in for the value of a win and a payput of £x.xx psh ? | debbiegee
