02/4/2009 07:09 | Looks alright to me...... RNS today Trading update Prior to publication of its results for the year ended 31 March 2009, the Board of Chloride Group PLC ("Chloride" or "the Company") provides the following trading update: Further to its third quarter Interim Management Statement, the Board of Chloride is pleased to report that trading for the year ended 31 March 2009 was in line with expectations and well ahead of the previous year. Operating cash flow was strong, resulting in a further reduction in net debt. Overall sales growth, in constant currency, was satisfactory with the Group's performance benefiting from currency movements over the period. Service revenue growth has been strong, emphasising the benefits of Chloride's total solutions approach and the robustness of its business model. Operating margin has improved as expected. Looking ahead, product order intake has been solid with growth in our industrial business offsetting softening in some sectors of the standard business. The Board will continue to monitor carefully all Chloride's chosen markets and the performance of its businesses, aware of the challenges posed by the prevailing economic environment. Mindful of this, action will continue to be taken to manage the cost base. Chloride's preliminary results will be announced on 1 June 2009. | tilmanstone

01/4/2009 14:42 | Lucky Lady Those you are referring to are only PI's the same as us, why should they know any more than us. It is not UNUSUAL for a share price to surprise, with a good set of results, even when others take the view that the good news is already 'factored in'. These are the shares that I tend to search for when trading updates appear. I cannot believe this will be negative tomorrow and I shall certainly be expecting 10-15% on the share price Hoping for a bit more. Regards PF | peaeff
01/4/2009 14:24 | Hope your right tilmanstone. | lucky_lady
01/4/2009 13:26 | It could be one of a few things .. Just trying to get Cheap Stock .. A Forced Seller due to Tax Year End .. Or lastly which I doubt results are already priced in the current share price ? | paragon157
01/4/2009 13:13 | Lets remember the trading update just 8 weeks ago! Chloride Group PLC The Board of Chloride is pleased to report that trading in the third quarter maintained the trend in performance reported at the half year on 3 November 2008 and was in line with management's expectations. Service revenue growth was strong..... There was also further good growth in the product order book in the quarter.... performance benefited from currency movements. Margins continued to improve, operating cash flow was good, and expiring credit facilities were renewed on sensible terms. The fourth quarter has started in line with our expectations. .... in Europe, .... we were pleased to receive Frost & Sullivan's 2008 European Award for Growth Strategy Leadership. Commenting, Chief Executive Tim Cobbold said: "Chloride has a robust cash-generative business model. We have made sustained progress towards our objectives in the first nine months of the year. Order intake remains ahead of sales; a record order book and good visibility of further opportunities in the fourth quarter give confidence in the outturn for this financial year." I can't believe this is going to stray too much in the last 8 weeks??!! | tilmanstone
01/4/2009 13:02 | Far more sells than buys. Perhaps they know something we don't regarding the results. Why would you sell before results if they are, as most people are expecting (good)? | lucky_lady
01/4/2009 12:09 | I just don't know what this company has to do to convince investors its a screaming buy at these levels... It only seems to move up when the bid rumours start. The fundamentals almost get completely ignore... very frustrating. Of course I'm assuming the results are (as expected) good tomorrow.... Good luck all | tilmanstone
01/4/2009 11:55 | Unbelievably low volume for any trading day up to now, but I have noticed this before with CHLD during the pre-lunch session. JUGEARS-yes you are quite right but they must have been chewing the fat long beforehand. Regards | peaeff

31/3/2009 12:46 | Yes I thought it was just the sets system and how it operates although I think there could be perhaps a forced small seller about ? Or if not they are messing around trying to get some Cheap Stock before Thursday .. Lol "imo" Results will be good and let's hope the "Bid Rumour" kicks off again ! Knowing how the "Spivs/Brokers" operate these days i'm sure the Bid Story will be back sooner rather than later ? .. Lol .. Although who knows this time round if it does it may be true ? .. Lol | paragon157
