28/4/2024 19:10 | So choose well little ones. I promise, whichever you declare, i wont say that was my choice. i shall choose different you can short too btw. 50% is 50% | institutional investments
28/4/2024 19:08 | We need them to be fast returners though. It's not like big markets where you can go in heavy and the monetary gain justifies the costs. We need to have as little fixed and variable cost time as possible on these | institutional investments
28/4/2024 19:07 | No doubt, Nobygnome will be the first to say, 'Im in' Hopefully only one of many though. 2200 is cut off point. have to go find one Not found 7 already Honest II | institutional investments
28/4/2024 19:05 | I look forward to seeing the list of participants later It is not a competition to embarrass others. i just want to learn from you guys later | institutional investments
28/4/2024 19:04 | 50% wouldnt be a bad return in a year, for many. So lets deem it an investment. And if it pays out in a week, excellent One rule,. Cant run more than 5% red from 0830 morning buy price, at any time during the hold | institutional investments
28/4/2024 19:03 | But im only playing if the gurus play | institutional investments
28/4/2024 19:01 | Will we have a bit of fun? And see can any of us find a fast 50% on a low spread stock that pays out within the week, with an exact 0830 buy price in the morning? Surely better than going on n on ere | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:57 | You will want to reduce your short at 2.99 and all out by 3.33 Welcome | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:54 | How can you be questioning any of us? | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:53 | When one considers fixed plus variable capital devaluations, plus spread as often is wide on smaller shares etc etc...plus the performance of smaller shares in the UK over a short, medium and long term period, you would actually have to question the sanity of any of us being on their threads, unless traders of course where the fixed and variable costs are nulled for the most part, and mostly just dealing with spread risk in analysis total Are you traders where you buy? Or just fkn insane? | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:46 | I just had a look at some of your history's. it seems 'risk' is not a consideration nor mention on the buy side. And it also seems price can fall for years and still never be wrong Well, you are wrong on them all. Even paper losses are wholly wrong in them. Small example An investment in 2018 and blagged ever since as falls, has now lost purchase power of over 25% alone. A rarely mentioned risk on forums of course. But time does have an added major cost There are other costs too but lets not go into them all. The total 41% cost on initial capital purchase power since investment. looking at your shares, no yield or anything for most to cover This means, in another 5 months, share price has to double on your buys, just to recover initial capital purchase power. Anyway, it is an example of one fixed risk. There are 5. But lets forget about those for now We wont account for any of this in risk analysis and just give me an exit price please. I wont laugh at the true value of your capital at point of execution, by adding on the other factors My point is, letting capital risk run against you, in a buy say, is also adding fixed % risks and variable like inflation So, its why i want a price now. Not more blag to 100p and 3 years down the road | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:30 | now it's not for me to determine how others should manage risk of course. But without discussing it, there can be no credibility, bull or bear side. Opinion is not risk control. Its just a thought Proper risk control has control of capital risk via analysis (anf thoughts if so wish) Capital risk management , which markets are all about, require exit prices. Re a price thats saying, got this one wrong dude, and out So, last time bears, given nothing is risk free, where should bears exit? | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:29 | Opinion is a dangerous thing. Example, Nobbygnome thinks OPTI will come good, but thinking it since 120s. Opinion is too costly a thing to base risk upon...lets get real like credible city desks, and look at position as open risk rather than just a blag Whats the out? | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:27 | Whilst poor Nobby seems to have acid leaking in to the skull, lets consider this re CHLL If short at 3p, where do you close it out? End of day, share price dictates all and there has to be a price in time, of where you cant carry on the risk So if the bears give me a real-deal market position here in terms of exiting short risk, we can look at it more deeply | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:25 | Yes Gerbil Control is another one of the sock puppet accounts . Gerby Derby will no doubt put in an appearance soon… | nobbygnome
28/4/2024 18:24 | To put it better, what price would you close a short at? | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:23 | At what price are you wrong? | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:20 | Guys can we get back to the rapid demise of chill | jonesy27
28/4/2024 18:18 | TBF, After doing it for what is now a 3rd decade in, I think Nobby even believes itself | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:15 | Just found something Nobby will like How Narcissists Blame and Accuse Others for Their Own Shortcomings The Mechanism People with strong narcissistic tendencies and other dark personality traits tend to blame others for their own bad behavior. If they are lying, then they will accuse others of lying. If they are cruel, they will say that others are cruel. If they are stealing and scamming, then they will accuse others of stealing and scamming. They never take responsibility, and it’s always someone elses fault. Besides ascribing their undesirable character traits to others, they will attribute the good characteristics of others to themselves. For example, if they see someone being nice, they will say, No, no, this person is not niceI am nice! If somebody is successful and happy, the narcissist will say, That person is such a loser and a fakebut I, I am really successful and authentic! | institutional investments
28/4/2024 18:02 | So sorry everybody. We did not realise mentioning a scum stock would attract scum attention Honest | institutional investments |
