14/2/2023 10:02 | That was just my short term holding El, i have a long term holding from a few years back, aim to hold until we get taken out | rimau1
14/2/2023 09:37 | rim, would hope over £3 is available. | essentialinvestor
13/2/2023 17:26 | Nice bounce from the 270’s. We remain rangebound and i took some profits today on my short term range trades. | rimau1
01/2/2023 17:45 | The buy case in a paragraph; “ The world’s total military spending is forecast to hit $2.18tn in 2023 (£1.77tn), with defence budgets rising by 8.6 per cent in nominal terms, or 5.1 per cent real terms, according to research provider Janes. This compares with an average real growth rate of 0.7 per cent over the past decade. | rimau1
01/2/2023 13:13 | Back above £3 shortly, hopefully!. | essentialinvestor
27/1/2023 15:04 | Decent director buy down here, added a fair amount now. should be 3 quid soon | doobz
11/1/2023 11:56 | Looking forward to seeing us through the £3 mark again then rimau1. So far so good! Then last summer's highs.... | dogwalker
11/1/2023 11:29 | Thanks dogwalker, yes it works well. | rimau1
10/1/2023 11:19 | I hope your strategy works again - various 'indicators' look awful now after the latest drop. Maybe that's your point. | dogwalker
10/1/2023 08:45 | Bought back my trading portion, Chemring is range bound so its possible to sell up to £3.15 and buy back in the £2.80’s which i have done several times. Long term holding remains safely tucked away. | rimau1
13/12/2022 16:59 | El - long term yes, it will acquire or be acquired, Roke being the jewel in the crown. Short term i expect at 15x it will remain range bound albeit with the usual geopolitical tailwinds maybe offset by dollar weakness from here on. If you trade, this is boring but i am about 50% up over the past 24 months and will hold until the end as a buy and forget. I do buy and sell the dips over at bae. | rimau1
13/12/2022 10:47 | With debt levels minimal i think corperate action is likely ...whether as the aggressor or the victim is the puzzle? | stevenlondon3
13/12/2022 09:56 | Solid update, is it enough to drive the share price on from current levels?. Might need a bolt on acquisition or two for that. | essentialinvestor
13/12/2022 08:11 | Yep, bang in line with upgraded results. Bulging order boom derisks the investment case with a chance of corporate action. Balance sheet sufficiently deleveraged to provide firepower for bolt on acquisitions. So all good, 15x historic earnings there is upside, long term hold for me (has been for 3 years now). | rimau1
13/12/2022 07:32 | Nice results today 👌 | terminator101
21/11/2022 14:15 | Thought a bounce overdue, nice. | essentialinvestor
18/11/2022 14:54 | Added a few more, anyone have a view?. | essentialinvestor
16/11/2022 23:07 | Added a small amount. | essentialinvestor
14/11/2022 14:21 | worth a look around current levels?. Not currently holding. | essentialinvestor
06/10/2022 09:51 | Bought some of these years ago and bought some more this morning...outlook looks very promising. | flc
06/10/2022 08:43 | Agree, & Roke features large again. Becoming core? | dogwalker
06/10/2022 08:39 | Huh? Are we reading the same outlook statement? Did you note the 39% growth (31% ex FX) in the order book over the last 5 months. That is truly astonishing. Every division is going great guns and they confirmed a strong balance sheet with a negligible impact of higher rates. Please, what part of that outlook statement underwhelmed? | rimau1 |
