It's a very workmanlike RNS.

It begins in a very straightforward way with no hyperbole. It comes across as sensible and risk-averse. Having built up your confidence in this new practical and pragmatic approach, it then tells you that there is still loads of upside but this too will be managed carefully.

I am happy to wait for Q1/13 to see all this unfold, and, yes, I like this RNS too.

Isn't this RNS to try to give the shareprice a bit of a boost? Or at least some more support?

I like this bit:

"The Company will focus on risk management going forward. The current work programmes require minimum expenditure and there is good head room for partner participation in the acreage which will ensure that Chariot retains a strong cash position. Management will continue to seek to reduce capital exposure through attracting further farm-in partners to share the costs and rewards of exploration."

Triples I agree re: 2013, but believe that Q1 2013 especially, will be very interesting, and remember Q1 starts in 11days ;-)

So Mr Ndume has gone from Country Director to Non-Executive Director....

My view is that Ndume should be looked after as best as possible so as to keep sweet with the inner circles in Namibia.

At least he's still there on the Board.

Thanks. Look at the 60 day graph stock loan graph in the header above as well - it too has dropped significantly. Maybe the hedged funds have not disclosed their movement as quickly as they should? Something is going to go pop real soon...

From a sample of 175m shares that clear the clearing house - it looks like char has taken a dive in short interest! Interestingly the link to the FSA spreadsheet is not working at the moment. Awesome -)

I think Larry is a Wiley old fox. Welch took the company a long way. Larry now has the Batten for a reason - Chariot want that shAreprice backup to £3+ and they know Larry can make it happen.
