02/6/2005 10:54 | Just made a tentative dip back in, figures must be next week sometime. | kingdwg
03/5/2005 16:37 | Yet more big buys - yet no price movement Cbird | seabird
20/4/2005 20:26 | I confess, I felt a bit like a turkey voting for Xmas when I voted against the requesitionists. Defeat for the requesitionists meant that a share price fall (in the short term) was inevitable. However, I suspect the share price has more or less bottomed out for now, and we have some interesting developments regarding share ownership. I'm hangin' on in there. | timbo003
20/4/2005 16:46 | So Cantor Fitz picked up over 2m - I know its small beer to them, but at least it shows some confidence in the shares at this level - or are they and Framlingon just trying to shore up the value of their holdings in the short term with a 8m shares overhang? C5 | seabird
15/4/2005 07:35 | Today's Times: 'Chapelthorpe, the fibres and coatings group, fell 1p at 16¾p as Second Advance Value Realisation, which alongside JO Hambro unsuccessfully tried to oust the board last month, sold its eight million shares at 16½p.' So who bought them as the shares were crossed at the full Offer? | nur0mancer
14/4/2005 18:36 | I was going to ask the question, if it was S A V dumping shares. I had seen the drop earlier and wondered why. rainydays answered it for me already. Thanks | geminian
14/4/2005 14:43 | Here comes the dump - 8 million shares | seabird
14/4/2005 11:57 | Bad news on the way? | seabird
11/4/2005 11:14 | Should it interest anyone - I bought 15000 shares at 09.55 this am at 17.825p and it appears as a sell. Cbird | seabird
22/3/2005 17:44 | ....and (as predicted) the sell off continues, I expect the end of tax year isn't helping as many small private investors will be looking to lock in profits. | timbo003
21/3/2005 18:24 | So now the excitement is over (for a while), the sell off begins. I wouldn't be surprised to see these to drift down to 16p (ish), before there is any renewed interest. However, we will see. Meanwhile, I'm hangin' on in there, I think they would be a bargain at 16p and may consider a top up if they ever get there. | timbo003
20/3/2005 17:07 | Well, I know I voted against the requesitionists (not an easy decision), but I was hoping it was going to be a close run thing when it came to the vote, it will be interesting to see what happens next, I'm hangin' on in there. | timbo003
13/3/2005 17:38 | Yes, on balance I agree with you timbo, so will be voting against the proposals as well. Of more significance will be the reaction of the share price on Fri once the EGM result is announced. To be honest not sure which 'winner' the market would view more favourably. So far since the EGM was called the share price has moved precisely nowhere, with the recent spate of RNS announcements having little effect either. | atkijo
13/3/2005 12:47 | There's a mention for Chapelthorpe in todays Mail on Sunday I've now sent my voting forms off, I voted against the reqisitionists. If they want control, they can have it, but it will cost them 30p/share as far as I'm concerned. | timbo003
11/3/2005 17:45 | Two more RNS releases today, one from the requisitionists and one from the directors, so lots more weekend reading. What a great show and its all for free | timbo003
10/3/2005 19:52 | I live fairly near the Hoyland site and if the new owners receive planning permission for residential over the whole site the £9 million may well be a terrific bargain (for the purchasers). The Hoyland/Millhouse Green area area is on the edge of the Peak District, it could be a very desirable site being out in the sticks and well within commuting distance of Manchester, Sheffield, Huddersfield etc. It seems to have been sold in a rush as the requisisitionists say! I would have prefered that the company itself applied for residential planning - maybe we should ask why they didn't? | belize1970
10/3/2005 18:23 | Oh goody, another RNS just out, this time from the requisistionists. This is is warming up nicely. I'm going to mull over my voting options at the weekend after reading all the blurb | timbo003 |
