13/7/2004 02:24 | The price is indeed holding up well. Was tempted to sell these to top-up with more OYS but have decided to hold for a while longer. An interesting pattern of trades since July 8 with a lot of big trades going through at the mid-price. Could this be someone steadily accumulating? You never know, a further rise could be on the cards. | audigger
12/7/2004 21:48 | hello everyone, I am back from my holiday and had to have a look to see how CPL was doing in these poor market conditions. I am glad to see that it has only fallen a small amount since I sold out which has to be good news when the markets are in free fall. Will be keeping an eye out for a chance to re enter these if they drop to below 21p to buy but at the moment it looks as if that may not happen. Good luck. | tuftymatt
26/6/2004 15:10 | With this kind of company and in todays times, its not time to sell, its still time to buy more - IMO near to 30p end of the year. | openportal
26/6/2004 13:16 | You can see why it held now, 300k balance. | kingdwg
25/6/2004 22:46 | I was tempted to cash-in myself as I'm nicely in profit having bought most at 6p with top-ups at 14p and 18p. However, I decided to hold for now and to top-up again on the predictable drop. Encouraging that the price held so well today with all the selling. Enjoy spending your profits. Bet you'll both be back for more later this year! | audigger
25/6/2004 14:56 | Well done Tufty you and me both done some banking then and Mrs Flatty. Like you I will look to top up again soon. | kingdwg
25/6/2004 14:24 | Hello Everyone, I am off on holiday tomorrow for a couple of weeks so I have to own up and say that I have cashed in my holding. I sold some the other day and have just let the balance go for .21675 The main reason in me doing this is that while I am away I dont want to be thinking about the share price and wondering if they are going up or down. Also I have made a hell of a lot of money in cpl and the fact that I can safely bank this now and bag the divi just got the better of me. I will be looking to get back in at some stage in the future , if the price is right , but if not then I hope you all do well and get a big percentage profit from CPL as I have. Am off to pack now so good luck everyone and take care Tuftymatt. | tuftymatt
25/6/2004 13:03 | So the big trades yesterday were the company again though I can't see the 250k @ 21.67 just 750k which may mean they bought a million in fact. | kingdwg
25/6/2004 12:44 | Had to take some profit today, it just makes sense after the recent run plus the divi, just look at the chart. Can't really see why they're gradually pushing the bid, may find out in a day or so but I've banked some anyway. | kingdwg
23/6/2004 11:13 | The last MBO was slated as it felt that the shareprice needed to be circa 20p to tempt out the institutions. Now we are at 22p and looking strong, I cannot see them letting go for less than 30p. I would certainly back a 30p plus buy-out. /A | a sacred lion
23/6/2004 09:29 | Small scale buying continues - certainly the ex-divi drop was very temporary - very good sign. | seabird
23/6/2004 03:43 | It looks like 24-26p is now a reasonable year-end target - 30p could be a little ambitious, but I won't be complaining! These are looking strong at the moment as I thought there would be a bigger ex-divi drop. Once they peak, could be a good opportunity to buy more on the expected drop. Would be interested to know peoples thoughts on the possibility of a MBO rearing its head again? | audigger
22/6/2004 17:05 | The year end is after the next set of accounts so if the recovery continues I would expect nearer 30p. They hardly paused over last year between prelims and interims apart from a bit of volatility between mid June & August. May be best to hang in for the rest of the year this time round. Makes my eyes water when I think how many I held this time last year at an average somewhere just over 8p. | kingdwg
22/6/2004 15:59 | OK everyone if we are talking of revising our price targets what are they going to be?? I have always said that 22p should be reached by year end and am now thinking more along the lines of 23p. Anyone else care to make a guess?? | tuftymatt

22/6/2004 15:55 | 'twas the company that bought the protected 250k yesterday then. | kingdwg
22/6/2004 14:10 | probably? i would definately revise it! | aughton 3
22/6/2004 13:19 | Look at the trades now!! Only 10,000 sold with 200,000 buys and now 21.25 / 21.75 | tuftymatt
22/6/2004 12:54 | Agreed, looking good, will probably have to revise my target:-) | kingdwg
22/6/2004 11:23 | Kingdwg, You have got your .25 and a little bit more!! All buys today so far which is great to see. | tuftymatt
21/6/2004 15:38 | Yeh - the buyers are ahead today, that 100K makes it roughly 3:2 so hopefully another .25 soon. | kingdwg
21/6/2004 14:20 | Hello Everyone, I have been away on a management course for over a week and have been unable to post but have been able to keep an eye on the share price. As the price fell I thought the bubble had burst but when it recovered I began to feel really confident that this is a strong share and there is still plenty more upside to come. As today is showing the shares are still in demand and even with the divi now banked not too many are giving in and taking their profits. As I said a while ago "let your runners run" and keep holding CPL for 22p will be here soon IMHO. | tuftymatt |
