According to my quick calls:

That would value the company at £45million with a
35% more shares than now

i.e. around 4.86p per share

However, though cash will be available to pay the current notes, how will the mine be financed? Presumably, with a similar deal to the previous one.

Through its China Overseas Engineering Group (COVEC) subsidiary, China Railways is proposing to invest 42 million USD, comprising 20 million USD for a 35% equity stake and a 23 million USD loan to refinance existing borrowing, at lower rates.

10's of millions of shares changing hands in last fews days. WHo is selling and why? They are getting nothing for their shares?

Who is buying? Can't be private investors surely.

Is it the CLN holders buying? This would be topping up on what they are going to get from the converstion of their interest via the restructure?

Is it the Chinese who have had an interest in the company for ages? This would be a cheap way of them getting a large % for virtually nothing? Perhaps arranged beforehand? Then they can fund the company after it has gone private?

It must seem very attractive to long term holders to increase stake given that their current shares would have been bought at anything up to 50p!!! But who knows what will happen after de-lisitng...

Doesn't make any sense. Anyone?
