Winnifroth : accoding to LSE new poster Tony kiss of death...Today 15:32 ...for this share now as TW has tipped it on his "HitsOwnWickets" site. Massive volume lately, some big Sells seem to have been absorbed

It is for Chaarat - if you look at past RNS news you will see a fundraise within 45 days of new broker RNS. Just in time to meet the October "deadline" for the $19.6m

It is usually a good call!

That computes, Casual, from Martin's last purchase. I'd expect another waiver issued around the same time. I wasn't really analysing if we'd get a good placing, a bad one or even if we'd get one, just stating that in my chequered career on Aim, a placing usually follows 'appointment of joint broker' almost as often as night follows day.

We know that there will be a placing at some point to assist in the financing of Tulkubash. So for me any indication of a potential placing is an indication that a financial package may be imminent. We can but hope!

Let's say by 31/12/2020 the total Kapan bank loan will have been reduced to $28m. That leaves $13m to secure as additional debt against Kapan. So a refinancing package to replace the $19.6m could be: $13m new debt secured against Kapan $6.6m cash through placing at 40p

We know there is a clause in the Armenian loan arrangement that total debt secured against Kapan may not exceed $41m so it would make sense to e.g. lend up to that amount (on top of the current $30m Kapan loan) and then pay of the rest of the $19.6m via placing or loan notes.

Why would a placing be bad? So far all placing were at premiums to SP, AFAIK. We know they are looking to refinance the $19.6m investor loan, with a preferred deadline of end of October. A portion of that might be through equity.

Start of ShareProp's article (the rest you pay for) : Chaarat Gold (CGH) describes itself as an “AIM-quoted gold mining company with an operating mine in Armenia and assets at various stages of development in the Kyrgyz Republic”. The shares commenced 2020 at 35.2p, with the gold price then below $1,550. The gold price is now above $1,950, but the shares are still available at a 38.9p offer price – with the company most recently updating earlier this month… Sounds like they may be recommending, who knows

Can we break above 40p as we did last Fri, but this time stay above? If so, maybe we can establish a new trading range.

Not a great fan of theirs to be honest because of the way TW behaves. Their share tips are very hit and miss but their exposure of frauds is pretty decent. Hopefully the article is not the latter!

While there could be lots of reasons why they quietly cancelled the plans to have a 2020 drill season at Tulku (covid logistics, cost savings) one reason could be that they don't need to i.e. they know that project finance is already "baggable" without it.

I can't claim to know exactly how these things work in mining project finance but I wouldn't be surprised if Chaarat have a letter signed by e.g. EBRD which gives some kind of pre-approval commitment to participate in project finance and then, with the appropriate NDAs in place, Chris/Artem/Martin go around the houses with a proposed project finance plan. They will possibly already have approached Norges Bank and perhaps all the "linkedin likers" (Citi, SI Capital, Standard Chartered, Verny Capital etc).

Well a bit disappointing to not end with an share price over 40p but that sort of volume not to be sniffed at. Perhaps we’ve got a good chance of making that break up early next week

juju The sale did indeed take place. I will let you know when the cash arrives, I agree, if the price drops back to 33p, I will struggle to buy 500,000. I'll have a go though.

Pabs, I have, in the past, set shares to sell on a limit trade at e.g. 39p when the quoted mid shareprice was below that. What happened was that the AT buyers took my limit trade and by doing so pushed the share price up. 39p was the highest trade for that day so while I sold my shares at that price those trades appeared to be a buy.
