20/10/2023 10:21 | There we go - £2 hit. Now let's see if it holds. Decline has been precipitate; does this now put it in play? | brucie5
19/10/2023 13:57 | In the most simplistic terms I see FCEL technology as being first generation and CWR tech being next generation. | bjfanc
19/10/2023 13:38 | could u please give any information regarding that history? Thanks | book5
19/10/2023 12:13 | Fuelcell energy in my opinion should be licensing CWR technology. Given FCEL history. | bjfanc
19/10/2023 11:29 | I agree - there is also this article penned by the UK Managing Director of Bosch - unfortunately, I don't have full access :- | skinny
19/10/2023 11:27 | FuelCell Energy/ A Global Leader in Fuel Cell Technology Innovation | Major competitor but IMHO plenty of room for Ceres if it can get to the starting line quick enough. I firmly believe they will do. | smokey 1o3
19/10/2023 10:36 | Skinny Indeed Extract: “FuelCell Energy’s SOEC electrolyser will be combined with nuclear generated heat and electricity to produce hydrogen in bulk at a lower cost than other hydrogen electrolysis technologies.” | book5
19/10/2023 10:19 | Interesting :- | skinny
19/10/2023 08:36 | As per my previous link, Funds are selling the whole sector; we were one of their top picks, so now we are also suffering more than others As a new technology, our main question is: Will others displace our technology? Are Ammonia engines a threat to cwr? | book5
18/10/2023 07:51 | Skinny Again, good news Many thanks | book5
17/10/2023 10:04 | BOOK thanks for the link. This extract caught my eye : "UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has delayed banning new petrol and diesel cars and residential gas heating until 2035. This has been previously delayed twice with deadlines moved from 2025 to 2030. He said, “We’re not going to save the planet by bankrupting the British people.” I wonder how many UK people believe it all and if they do are keen to get rid of Gas boilers and ICE vehicles. Still as ever the leaders just do it but never practicably justify it and would never ask the people as they my get the "wrong" answer. All a bit confusing on boilers I thought H2O boilers were the future hopefully they are as its a good market for CERES actually a huge market! | colsmith
16/10/2023 13:28 | HI Skinny, Wonderful news. Many Thanks | book5
14/10/2023 17:23 | Very poor and highly biased article. No mention of the spend on IRA in the US or the equivelant EU programmes, let one expenditure in Korea and Japan and Australia. Domestic boilers....will be delayed ed a bit but the decarbonisation of big gas user industries eg steel and metals refining, fertilisers, cement, glass and chemicals is underway eg Germany, Sweden, Australia and Japan. Money is being committed increasingly rapidly to projects on the ground. No mention of carbon capture and storage.....only one medium-large project in scale production, I. E. nobody knows if it actually works at scale and can guarantee the store of carbon safely for (say) 200 years. This kind of research might suit some minor financial journal but does not stand up to the lowest level of critical analysis. You need to be more thoughtful in your reading and analytical in marrying the critique presented with observable data on the ground. And for clarity the movement of cash in a couple of specialist funds over a month or so does not reflect the scale or 20-30 year timescale of the industrial change now underway and the trillions of £ that will be spent making it happen. No mention of accelerating sales of electric vehicles and the shift of direction of heavy commercial vehicles and shipping away for oil and towards hydrogen/ammonia options. As I said, a poorly researched article that shows both a confirmation bias in presenting data only in support of the intended conclusion and an exclusion of all other data that supports an alternative and more factual analysis. Chip paper quality journalism. | bmel
14/10/2023 12:46 | Yes, I notice the interview with tucker Carlson. The whole piece could well have been written by him and sponsored by Big Oil. I think it's using an evident outflow of funds from this sector -among others!- to make the case for continued use of fossil fuels. Basically in denial. Though of course a Trump presidency will do its best to reverse the IRA. The science is clear. | brucie5
14/10/2023 11:12 | The above article shows the reason why shares in the whole industry have come down | book5
14/10/2023 11:06 | I do not have the Hyperlinks to specific cases Years ago, Gamesa (now Siemens-Gamesa) started a joint venture to produce windmills in China. A few years later, the Chinese built their mill industry very fast; my guess was due to unauthorised technology transfer. These days, China is ahead in the electric car battery and solar panels industry. China will likely avoid joint ventures to enter Western markets to avoid unauthorised technology transfer | book5
14/10/2023 09:14 | book5 - You said "The problem is they copy the technologies and create new companies outside the joint venture". Can you give examples of this or is it just rhetoric? | smokey 1o3
13/10/2023 21:44 | Wouldn't rely on Weichai happening any time soon. Bonus if it does. Bosch and new partners for SOEC, will be catalysts for uplifts. | bjfanc
13/10/2023 20:24 | Will the Chinese finish CWR, pay back to our beloved Government | pigeons
13/10/2023 18:02 | book5 - examples please? | smokey 1o3 |
