01/7/2019 15:49 | This explains why nothing has been heard about progress with the Cummins/Microsoft arrangement. The equipment got smashed en-route to Ceres for final handling and return to the USA. Still all is now well and IMHO something will be reported about it soon. It indicates "commercialisation" 2019. | smokey 1o3
01/7/2019 15:34 | As far as cwr is concerned, the longer hydrogen takes to catch on (and it will be a long long time if ever imv) the better it is for cwr's solid oxide fcs. They can use several fuels and extract the h2 within the fc, whereas other fc technologies, like pems, need pure h2 as the fuel (meaning extra kit like reformers between the fuel and the fuel cell) if they want to take readily available fuels. cwr have a big competitive advantage over other fc companies due to this. | shy tott
30/6/2019 14:10 | Why do I hope to see the hydrogen economy highlighted in the Sunday Business sections? A vain hope. One day? One day? | zeppo
28/6/2019 21:06 | Ceres work on licencing so there could stiĺl be huge income if someone else manufactures using Ceres's IP. | zeppo
28/6/2019 19:16 | Gimmethefax Hopefully Cummins are big enough to work with different fuel cells. eg I believe that they already work with Ballard. Ceres's has the advantage of running on methane or biofuel. Is cheap production of pure hydrogen here yet? An RNS would be appropriate should they discontinue development with Ceres? | zeppo
28/6/2019 16:16 | Good spot Gimme. A fair opportunity to top up in the coming weeks. The next set of figures should 'prove the pudding' | dickiepugs

23/6/2019 10:51 | Sunday Telegraph Business section, Alan Tovey article on Johnson Matthey catalysts etc, incudes: Reluctance to give details on other issues Johnson Matthey is looking at; ' but when pushed admits hydrogen fuel cells and recycling batteries are of interest.' General dirth of awareness raising of the hydrogen economy continues. Perhaps by next Sunday we might get some mention of Ceres's latest RNS. Any one else finding press comment on fuel cells. For Ceres's price to fall back again after the RNS boost, is disappointing! | zeppo

20/6/2019 17:44 | As a LTH with no desire to sell, my heart sank when I read the RNS this morning. The reason is that my 75th is coming up and as I have exceeded my Lifetime Allowance by a modest amount I need the book value of my SIPP where I have my CWR to be as low as possible. | cerrito
20/6/2019 17:02 | Agreed capt, the new rules forcing energy cos to pay private small-scale producers feeding into the grid should surely benefit the substitution of old boilers by Ceres units. If only politicians would back British innovation instead of producing hot air themselves. | dozey3
20/6/2019 16:00 | I think the home boiler unit.... though maybe not the commercial key is certainly the one which will catch the public's imagination.... cant wait | capt bligh
20/6/2019 15:53 | Full Year figures 9th October last year. Three and a half months away and the possibility of more positive announcement before that. Whatever comes of our Brexit mess our government must fully support 'green' manufacturing for jobs, for revenue, and to combat the climate emergency in a meaningful way. | zeppo
20/6/2019 15:46 | Financial Highlights * Revenue and other income up 168% to GBP8.3m (H1 2017: GBP3.1m), driven by new licence fees * Gross margin increased from 46% to 82% due to high margin licence fees * Operating loss has halved from GBP6.2m to GBP3.0m * Funded to cash flow breakeven: strong cash position of GBP78.4m at the period end (H1 2017: GBP13.2m) There we are so loss £3mil but triple digit revenue growth (accepting unlikely to be that dramatic), but who knows. | gspanner
20/6/2019 15:42 | The theorising above should mean ITM is taken over tomorrow and their price doubles overnight if my normal investment timing is anything to go by.... | gspanner
20/6/2019 15:38 | Well what can I not see here? All my worries about the technology seem to have been solved - last was the rate of degredation of each cell. the first commercialisation of the product; however the model used licensing the tech provides revenues throughout the development process ensuring cashflow to fund the company, etc. Now will produce royalties per unit sold. this works well since the raw materials cost is low so both parties make a nice margin. I assume some manufacture is/has been organised to take place in japan since this single use may overwhelm the UK facility. This is one of several revenue streams, and I must say not what I expected to be the first commercial product given how the 'home boiler' story died off after trials. Once a product is finalised the manufacture is licenced to the corporation (Bosch/Wachai/Cummin The company has more cash than it knows what to do with following massive investment from involved companies above. once the company becomes cash generative (soon I suspect) it will start giving cash back to shareholders since the costs of expansion are largely bourne by the companies licensing the tech. Currently loss making (I suppose I should look back more closely at the last few accounts), but generating double digit revenue growth from above WITHOUT the added royalties from products. I remember thinking may show some profit for the next 6/12 accounts and thinking this may be the catalyst for share price growth. Anyway sold 50k ITM since this seems far more likely to work over he next 6-12 months and possibly 6-12 years given the quality of the model/management. | gspanner
20/6/2019 11:47 | nice to see things finally becoming real....have been in and out over the years and got back in in april - probably lost a chunk in the past but happy this is now headign in the right direction. validation for the pursuit of technological innovations. if only afc and itm etc can have a similar moment.... | global nomad

20/6/2019 09:35 | Business section scribes should pick this up and help awareness raising in a big way. | zeppo
20/6/2019 09:32 | great news | elcapital2018
20/6/2019 09:31 | With electrical efficiency of 50% - more than double the current capability of conventional power generation - and thermal efficiency of above 90% in the boiler, CWR are consolidating their position as world leader. There no indication that the stock market has any understanding at all of how great is the success being signalled. The share price has a long way to climb just to reflect this first commercialisation, and there are several more to come during 2019/20 from Bosch and Weichai, probably Cummins hard on their heels, jointly, likely to dominate static power generation At the same time CWR will,be demonsrrating that green power and zero emissions are realisable.on the necessary scale to save the planet. Yes. It's that significant. The government should wake up and put its weight behind Ceres, just as they are doing with graphene to combat the disintegration of employment in the automobile industry. | scrutable |
