I always remember Glencore when they hit 75 ish and I bought 250/- and every man and his dog was down on them. I still hold 50/- to this day. Things can come good when all looks lost and the same can be said of Anglo American..... I've never been one to follow the heard but I'll admit this one is causing me grief!!

So the downer trolls have no sympathy for those BG engineers losing their final salary pensions.......sums the pair up tbh.You know chaps it may be easier for you both if I post up here where I've posted elsewhere, that way you haven't got to keep searching under my name to find out,,,,,what do ya reckon?The more you troll me the more I post on here, the more this drops the longer I stay, oh well.

I was thinking of having a short term punt and having been reviewing all these last few weeks. I have come to the conclusion it’s best to avoid( I won’t bore all why ) but can I ask you and those long ( short term or have held for a while) apart from hoping for a bid ( sorry can’t see that coming) what catalysts can you really see for a turn around. As I say I can’t see it but want to be persuaded why I am wrong. I am bad at selling winners and holding losers but I just can’t see any valid reason to buy or hold ( even if I was losing ) this stock.

Just checked on stockcharts graph and the max was about 295 (not 400), guess they normalise on issued shares?.....anybody?, duh don't be daft chap nobody's going to reply.So, that would have been an equivalent PE of about 11, so forecast based on max intraday high (normalised) would be 88p (which IMVHO is forecast fair value - sorry bulls), let's split the difference eh and call it a £1.

Rumour has it that BG Engineers reduction in pension has been passed, appalling IMO given Conn's contemporary for the workforce and I'm alright Jack attitude. Morale must be at rock bottom

From 400 to 110......is there really that much of a difference in this company now as opposed to the heady days???? I think not.It is all go with the flow follow the heard.Following the sheep.Swim with the tide.It's cool to whip centrica

We really want this running as a going concern as a bid will leave a lot of loyal long term shareholders out of pocket and I'm afraid Conn will accept anything that's put on the table.

Market is pricing in armageddon. Mind you I thought that at 180. Silly prices. Silly season. The market prices this as 400 and got that completely wrong. Then 300. Then 200 then......Mad as a March hare.

I left bg 5 years ago and their business model is stuck in the 80s, it has the market and the customer base to power through the tough times but only if they start treating their customer, investors and staff with.......

Yes I agree, profit warning no doubt but the market is pricing that in already. All depends how bad it is. The market might except bad and they'll move higher but if it's catastrophic then no doubt we'll see them test 80p. I would then see them as a sitting duck for a bid.IMHO

Thanks jpj, either way it's below that.Bulls were strong today but low volume, the next few weeks will be interesting.All the best.....still see another pw coming.
