05/4/2018 13:19 | I wonder if there will be a bid after we go x-dividend. If it happens before this date is the dividend at risk? | masterblaster

05/4/2018 12:47 | Nortic , It’s just not behaving as a defensive stock. Which was the main reason of my coming into Cna . Still I am ok holding at these levels. My average is 143 so not out by much. | whatsup32
05/4/2018 12:33 | Whatsup32 Have you noticed when CNA get near 142 they get knocked back every time. | nortic 007
05/4/2018 12:30 | That's Irish stamp duty. You used to get a refund if you sold within the account but that was when an account lasted 10 business day which was a very long time ago. | nortic 007
05/4/2018 12:28 | I remember checking with Barclays Stockbrokers because if I had to pay stamp duty it would have run into 100's of thousands......... no kidding!!! | nortic 007
05/4/2018 12:27 | I bought Ryan air and paid 1% duty. Still feeling the pain. Is there a list of shares that are exempt somewhere | whatsup32

05/4/2018 12:11 | Didn’t realise there was no stamp duty on Glencore | whatsup32
05/4/2018 10:14 | Without looking back at records , this is the most money I have in any one company 183k. I did have 145k in Morrisons about 5 years ago before I sold them and 115k in Glencore about 2.5 years ago | jpjohn1
05/4/2018 09:15 | Realistically I would hope to see this go back up to what I paid in the next two years, in the meantime we have a great dividend coming in. For me personally it's 11,760 a year which is a lot of money. It does seem strange being locked in at the moment from having my finger on the button buying and selling. The most I've bought and sold in one day if they were added up is bought 628k and sold 660k ( sold 32k first thing) buying and selling Glencore, all day. There is no stamp duty and made at the end of the day 1,400 pound | jpjohn1
05/4/2018 09:12 | Beautiful Spring morning here also and we're dropping the kids off at Grandmas for the day. lol | capeview
05/4/2018 08:53 | Rotation into defensives. My Vods so are also doing well from 191. Patience my friends. If you get stressed look at the long term monthly chart here. It's a beautiful spring morning in Newcastle and the birds are tweeting. | supermarky

05/4/2018 07:48 | Portside is deluded over TRUMP.In terms of Corbyn... who said I support labour? Though going down this road at least he was right about the Russian issue... Boris lying to the world about Russian involvement but now it's proven that they haven't got the evidence to point finger at Russia.Corbyn said right from the beginning gather the evidence before pointing fingers at anyone.. | losses |
