Conn mentioned it in his presentation without being prompted, its not immanent
but the fact that it was mentioned, you can bet your last Dollar it will happen...

These speeches are carefully thought out. testing the water!

So it looks like they are going to do a IPO with Spirit Energy
i wondered why they did a pre-pack on it.

still the BOD seem very switched on, so i guess it will add value for us shareholders.

Good Morning Nortic 007

It is stunningly beautiful here. What makes it extra special where we are staying between two mountain ranges so have no wind but the advantage of glorious sunshine , ice/snow mountain peaks , green valleys, streams, deer and pheasants everywhere. The buildings here are made from locally sourced stone and they all look identical in grey. Roads are all but empty . There are many nature trails. We have spent the past eight days just taking in the scenery. Loch Ranouch near Pitlochry

As far as the big six moving on . No, they will try to maximise returns as per usual , they’ll just rebrand it Mark Hodges has/is doing a brilliant job.

The customers that fall under the CAP bracket are the most profitable for CNA hence the companies determination to hold on to them by as my man Hodge Says engaging with them ( contacting to convince them to go on an annual contract at roughly same rate so that they fall out of the CAP bracket. 400,000 already signed up . Go my man Hodge.

It’s in the interest of all six to do same.

Re the small fry that are suppose to be offering these huge discounts and all green, loving and cuddly . Slowly it’s been noticed some have already gone bust and a few screwing their customers.

As far as the Nuclear, I think if it was highly profitable they would have wanted to hold on to them . They are restricted on who they can sell the assets to so the competition to buy will be limited. In other words it will be a hard sell.
I had a quick look to see what returns they made but could not find the information motion on their site.

All the best

Morning whatsup32I guess you're waking up in Scotland to some beautiful scenery. I played at Loch Lomond many years ago and it was beautiful but my golf that day was ugly.I read the article in the Guardian about the big six. Even though the headlines makes you wince a little, do you believe it's now a case of them moving forward and starting to get their house in order. I was interested to hear your thoughts on their nuclear power stake as well. If CNA and the like can just try a turn things around I see no reason why they won't continue to recover.I've tried to stop reading all these article because they all sound the same to me and you start to become quite immune to them as the market has proved this week.Make you wonder what will be the next sector that will get dissected next.Enjoy your weekend

For those who like to invest for income, this is a good site that lists all the upcoming Divs, dates & yields.
Use tabs at below 'Upcoming Div Dates' for individual market for FTSE 100, 250etc or ALL.
Click on 'Dividend Yields' at the very top and can order the yields high to low etc.
Under 'Annual yield on the right click on the rt facing arrow for drop down box of Dates & Yield.

Updated daily.

More interesting is reading the comments below the article, shows why the politicians are trying to score points with it.

However those most against a free market can not use their main argument here, ever increasing profits!

My problem with the Corbyn-led utility crash is we only had an election last summer, no election has even been called and none is due until 2022. Unless the Tories actually want to commit suicide, lose power and be out of office none needs to be called (no one can force them) and they need to come together and be more united.
