05/1/2018 13:13 | British utilities re-energised after investors make a bet on new gains | philanderer
05/1/2018 13:05 | It's nice to see the increase, but I bet there will be another few ups and downs in the coming weeks or even months. After all, at this price, there is potential profits to be had on those swings. It's just if you have enough money to be able to do that, otherwise, like a lot on these boards, are either stuck with too big of a booking to risk half or a quarter every so often for a potential increase in holdings. I'm thinking we'll be heading nearer to 1.50 but back down again for the profit takers. | capeview
05/1/2018 12:43 | The 'buyers' seem to have ample steam at present and enough to get past 150, if not today, at least on Monday. Whether £2 is a reasonable objective remains to be seen but whilst the new year rally continues, the future, regarding CNA shares, looks a lot brighter. | selborne_edge
05/1/2018 10:52 | Good day today, people starting to see the value in this company at last | jpjohn1

05/1/2018 09:43 | Just from a traders perspective I notice that they seem to be getting snapped up on the dips. I'd also expect to see more day traders getting involved. | nortic 007
05/1/2018 09:30 | Jpj, I don't have my house on it like you do but I do have a substantial position in CNA at far higher than today's price. I'm entirely comfortable with it as I am averaging down when I can and in the meantime enjoying the dividends. I don't like Portside think the dividend should be cut in lieu of share buybacks. I'm not saying it wouldn't affect the share price but there are many pensions and pensioners who can't buy more shares and rely on the income. Obviously it's a tricky one and I don't envy Mr Conn the situation but as I say, the opportunity to buy at this level helps so as a long term holder I believe I will be better off in the long run when realisation of the value of CNA returns and the Corbyn nonsense is behind us. | warranty
05/1/2018 09:16 | been buying these this morning gl | purple11
05/1/2018 08:58 | True, but literally have an house on it already, and don't want to put more money on it.I could buy a lot more to lower my averages like portside but feel I have enough money in this company. It will go up eventually to the price I paid for it, the date of that is anybody's guess. The price it is at now I would snap this company up again if I didn't already hold these shares | jpjohn1 |
