05/1/2022 08:48 | I halved my stake here. I would rather take a small loss than be exposed to unknown political risk. Maybe some short term weakness on the price. | briggs1209
05/1/2022 01:33 | Escalating anti government protests in Kazakhstan over the previous 48 hours. Not ideal for political uncertainty reasons, but I doubt it will effect kounrad output (although there are videos of oil workers walking out and joining the protests). | king_baller

31/12/2021 10:27 | H2 has been far stronger than H1. CAML finished 2020 with net debt of $36m, and at the end of 2021 will have circa $20m net cash. That's $1m being added to the coffers every week, as well as $49m debt repaid and $39m dividends paid out in 2021. The SASA debt will be repaid in 7 months and a 10p final dividend gives a 7% yield. When my patience is tested as a CAML shareholder, I just keep telling myself these numbers. | pughman
23/12/2021 07:12 | The steady job of churning out cash continues...debt free since August too! | cthompso
22/12/2021 08:43 | Quiet here. The zinc price has almost doubled since 2020 low and is now in sight of 2018 high. | zho

19/11/2021 09:42 | Miners were among the top gainers as copper prices rose, with Anglo American, BHP, Antofagasta, Rio and Glencore all higher.Today's Advfn Euro markets bulletin. | melton john
17/11/2021 12:49 | Is CAML being held back ..... No, it isn't a market maker stock the majority of trades are ALGO from institutions rebalancing. I trade too after a rise, doesn't mean I'm worried. In an earlier life I was an electrical/electroni One of the other uses of copper tradionally has been copper plumbing and worries about China cutting back on construction have been used to weaken the price of the main players, this affects some holders who aren't aware that CAML is one of the cheapest producers and would be one of the last to be affected if in fact there is a reduction in demand. The facts that a lot of plumbing today is plastic and also the demand for copper cables is growing exponentially balance this out in my opinion. So please everybody sell so I can buy more cheaper. | melton john
17/11/2021 09:22 | QS99 , no there is no read across to Atym , they dont produce zinc or lead or use caml's extraction methods. Feel free to post you thoughts on ATYM on the ATYM thread as you seem to like them so much | vish65
17/11/2021 09:00 | Looking forward to ATYM results tomorrow, see how a decent pure play copper producer is faring in these times. Some read across to CAML maybe....let's see. Is CAML being held back with worries about overpaying for buying new assets ? | qs99
14/11/2021 17:47 | Can anyone help with understanding Sasa's contribution to profit? I've got the following from the H1 2021 interims. 1.
