11/11/2020 17:41 | The trend is up and caml is ridiculously cheap. Q4 update will give the market and even better indication. I don't believe we will be anywhere near sub £2 by Jan. | kael
11/11/2020 16:25 | Agreed however the overall trend is up, keep the faith. | simplemilltownboy
11/11/2020 16:11 | This share price seems to always show weakness at the end of the day, for some reason any decent rise gets sold off. | 2603
11/11/2020 12:35 | Nice to see the dividend reinstated only a week after my email to CAML.Buyers coming in now for the 6p dividend. The Final could be around 8p.So a 14p FY would be giving a 7.4% yield at the current share price of 189p atm.King Baller quoting over a 10% yield ? That would need around a 12p Final dividend next year. The most the Final dividend would be given is maybe 10p,if profits are very good ! Giving a 8% yield at 200p. Wed 4 Nov Hi Gary, Thanks for your email to our info@ account. I can’t really add much more for now but wanted to acknowledge your email and sentiments. We appreciate that dividends are important to our shareholders and intend to update the market in the coming weeks. Kind regards, Louise Louise Wrathall Director of Corporate Relations Central Asia Metals plc Sackville House 40 Piccadilly London | garycook
11/11/2020 10:19 | Added some to the pot today. Nice to see the dividend confirmed and hopefully we will be above 200p in due course before regaining quite a bit of lost ground. 340p is the all time high I believe and with the next commodity cycle we could approach or even exceed with good fortune. Meantime the yield is nice! | lauders
11/11/2020 10:00 | I am assuming that is divis back on track and we can look forward to a divi for H2 2020. | 11_percent
11/11/2020 09:22 | Bit pernickety to lower the interim from 6.5p to 6p, with no final dividend in April, surging metal prices and net debt likely to end the year reduced from $80m to circa $30m. | pughman
11/11/2020 08:18 | This will bring institutional income fund/trust $ back to CAML. With a likely annual dividend of over 10 percent, why wouldn’t they! | king_baller
11/11/2020 07:50 | Great result, well done CAML on the quick response and fix of the tailings dam. Very happy with 6 pence and the near term ex div date. I might be able to afford a turkey this xmas. The kids will be pleased. GLA | simplemilltownboy
11/11/2020 07:44 | Excellent news .....with industrial metal prices and demand bouncing back strongly, warehouse stocks at/near decade lows, and copper supply forecast to be in deficit for much of this decade, the outlook for the sector and in particular its well managed low cost producers looks very encouraging. | mount teide
11/11/2020 07:35 | :-) With about a week to go before x-div, long due a run back above £2 | return_of_the_apeman
11/11/2020 07:05 | Reinstated at 6p. Lovely stuff, well done to the board for negotiating a very tricky few months. | eagleblue1
10/11/2020 21:03 | My tuppence is that I think they should pay out 6.5 pence as this matches the last 3 interim payments. However they have stated a policy of 30 to 50 per cent of FCF which equates to 4 to 5.5 pence. Given the cash in the bank I'm still going for 6.5 pence, hope springs eternal. GLA | simplemilltownboy
10/11/2020 20:04 | Yup that would be the smart move . See what tomorrow or Thursday brings. What kind of dividend we expecting, I’m thinking the usual 6.5p? | longterm95
10/11/2020 19:31 | Would be a smart PR move to announce the dividend tomorrow or Thursday morning, and then Nigel can use it as part of his interview on Thursday, get some more investors in before it goes ex div. | eagleblue1
10/11/2020 19:15 | The proactive interview is on Thursday so just guessing that they might announce the long awaited dividend, however pure speculation on my part. GLA | simplemilltownboy
10/11/2020 19:00 | Yup it jumped to £1.85 for some reason despite being under £1.80 and then I think final trade was somewhere around £1.825 which considering where it was all day was again a surprise. Like you said bit weird price action at end there but look at the volume as well compared to normal days , approx 830k shares trade according to l Vox which compared to the average days is quite high. | longterm95
10/11/2020 17:18 | Strange price action at close, wonder if there's a RNS tomorrow? | simplemilltownboy
10/11/2020 12:30 | Looking out a year yesterday was a massive under reaction to cyclical share prices. Markets simply can't move as quickly as they should, which is one reason momentum works. The second reason is the wall of worry, visible across Advfn, which causes plenty of people not to participate in the early stages of a move, or of those that do some will take profits early. This is all good, got to have people to sell into at tops! | hpcg
09/11/2020 20:45 | I think we hit £1.85 during the day & correct me if I’m wrong but we ended the day at £1.80? Anyways long term wise these swings won’t have much affect as long as their is gradual rise. | longterm95
09/11/2020 19:50 | I think it was a little bit of an overreaction, the stock market always does whether the news is good or bad. Regardless CAML had already hit 180p pre vaccine news off the back of Biden and the metals prices, so I can't see this being knocked back any further. | eagleblue1
09/11/2020 19:21 | Warranty - too early to make such a call, we need a breakdown of efficacy with age - it may work better than expected in the elderly. Efficacy greater than 50% jn the over 80s is a genuine game changer. My current thinking is, it's really good news, better than I was expecting. | frazboy
09/11/2020 19:12 | I think today was a major overreaction to the Pfizer news, understandably probably but it hasn’t even been certified yet and like any vaccine is of minimal benefit to the over 70’s due to their weakening immune system, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the enthusiasm knocked off it tomorrow as the market considers it isn’t the silver bullet some believed. I’m not trying to be negative here, I’m as pleased as anyone to see my well hammered shares pick up but I just fear it may be a short lived bounce. | warranty
09/11/2020 14:41 | With metal prices, dividends and debt all pointing in the right direction, Covid is the only headwind here. A vaccine that works should see a minimum 20% rise. It's risen 3% since the Pfizer news, so much more to come. | pughman
09/11/2020 14:40 | Let's see how this breakout phase fares over the coming weeks | kael |
