Don't worry about sounding negative, however 20yrs mine life is actually very good. A 10% yield compounded over 20yrs is absolutely massive - not sure our mine life is quite that long based on known resources today or yield will always be 10% but hope that paints a rosier picture. 15 yrs and 7% compounded still huge

Hope this doesn't come across negative as I'm a happy LTH and will continue to be so for a while yet - recent share price rise is very welcome. But - unless CAML add an acquisition I can't see this pushing back to previous all time highs. Growth in copper price is very welcome for the dividend, but conversely it also makes buying a new copper resource more expensive. It's understandable if institutions don't invest given, at the moment, CAML will run out of mines within twenty years. Here's hoping for a new buy in the next year or two - doesn't have to be copper in my mind.

Copper back above 3.5lb
Surely, net debt to be gone H1 and over 10% yield at these metal prices

Plenty of re-rate left here just chewing through resistance of a few who bought pre-covid and have just broken even I expect

hxxps://simplywall.st/stocks/gb/materials/aim-caml/central-asia-metals-shares/news/is-central-asia-metals-plc-loncaml-trading-at-a-43-discount - Article also backs up the fact that our share price is considerably low and plenty of room for growth

Yup but in terms of CAMl, the Kaz deal won’t affect our short and long term valuation. I don’t see how this doesn’t touch and exceed £3 by April. Base metal prices risen and still on the up and like many have said when Copper was price was high but still lower than today few years ago this was in the £3.20 range and hence it will get there eventually (even if it is slowly). Good luck all but if you’re invested here then you are helping your luck along the way.

Interesting, but KAZ may still be up in the air - its price is well above the offer and some large holders have expressed unhappiness.

VSA Capital increase CAML target price 14% to 285p. They think a premium rating may be justified as KAZ being taken private shrinks the pool of London-listed copper producers.

Goldman Sachs expects copper price to break all-time high in 2022

Goldman Sachs has predicted that copper's remarkable price surge is set to continue next year and could break records because of resurgent demand and capped supplies.

Nice to be back to what was a normal and unexciting price range pre-Covid.

Re: Big impatient buyer, don't think there is any known news due so perhaps a bid may be coming

Either way with metal pricing on a tear this re-rate continues to gather pace :-)

That's a big closing auction at a huge 10p premium to the previous trading high of the day.

A potentially highly suspicious transaction that should be thoroughly investigated if the company releases market moving news during the next few weeks!

Would like to see this move on above 205 with volume before buying more. (look at what happened late afternoon Friday).

The market seems to mark this down whenever it has a chance which bewilders me - but keeps me wary.

Would be nice to see this finish over 200 pence. Nice rise even though we're ex divi. Thanks for the metal price postings nice to see the share price reflecting the uplift in base metal prices, although this is still very cheap IMO. GLA

Considering the very strong operating cash flow being thrown off at the current metal pricing - a 300p share price is cheap never mind 200p!

Performance since H1/2020 Covid-19 low
+76% - Copper - $3.42/lb
+56% - Zinc - $1.27/lb
+30% - Lead - $0.94/lb
