19/8/2020 11:21 | The strong recovery in industrial metal pricing to 1-2 year highs will see ultra low cost operator CAML generate a huge increase in cash flow, which should trigger a strong share price recovery to the 200p-225p range, and then onto 250p+, following the expected resumption of the dividend likely to be announced in next months Interims. AIMHO/DYOR | mount teide
19/8/2020 11:18 | Interims due in 4 weeks time, on 16 September. With H1 Copper production on a par with last year and both Zinc and Lead up by circa 5.5%, there may be some news about the future restoration of the dividend. | masurenguy
19/8/2020 07:39 | Copper, Zinc and Lead pricing continuing to surge - all rebounded strongly from the Covid-19 lows to 1-2 year highs driven by Covid-19 production performance restrictions. Performance since H1/2020 Covid-19 low +50 - Copper +40% - Zinc +27% - Lead | mount teide

18/8/2020 17:53 | Closing auction of 24k at 174.8p - highest closing price for over 6 months. Copper closing in on $3 again while, zinc and lead hit new 11 month highs of $1.12 and $0.91 respectively. | mount teide

17/8/2020 15:40 | Copper, Zinc and Lead continue to recover strongly since the Q2/2020 Coivd-19 low - now back or above the pre Covid-19 highs of Q4/2019. +47% - Copper +37% - Zinc +25% - Lead This very strong industrial metal price recovery is still to be fully reflected in the valuation of CAML - although, the chart is increasingly suggesting a breakout targeting 200p+. | mount teide
17/8/2020 15:25 | ta wassapper :o) CAML verging on a breakout here. | bigbigdave

15/8/2020 10:37 | Yes, I know but what happens when all that electricity comes off the grid. Connecting up all those charging stations and upgrading supply feeders to houses to replace fossil fuel. Connecting all those wind turbines and solar farms to supply the grid with 4 times as much current too. The Ofgem link illustrates it well. | melton john
15/8/2020 09:48 | They generally use aluminium for the grid. | dhb368
13/8/2020 13:36 | Spending plans on energy infrastructure towards net zero. Quote "4x more electricity needed on the grid to support shift to clean energy" 5 year £25b investment program. Surely worldwide demand for copper cable will increase as other countries do similar. | melton john
13/8/2020 13:10 | That's probably MT having a wee top up:-) | pedro2
13/8/2020 12:06 | someone’s keen - 555k shares is healthy - that’s been filled this morning IMO | napoleon 14th
11/8/2020 08:50 | Agree with the reinstatement of the divi, however happy that they just reinstate at the interims and hold the suspended full year divi to pay down debt. CAML should be debt free in year. share price in my opinion should be around 2.20 if / when they reinstate. GLA | simplemilltownboy
10/8/2020 09:47 | Kael.Agree. | garycook
10/8/2020 09:41 | They need to reinstate the dividend for this to move proper. | kael
07/8/2020 17:01 | I doubt they have quite so many obese people with diabetes which seems to account for a lot of ours. Your points about global city etc are correct. That is one reason why we got hit, but not the only one. School ski trips to Italy at Easter were a big factor here in Hampshire. Whoever let those go ahead needed their heads seeing to. | wassapper
07/8/2020 12:27 | wassapper, You're right - I should have checked the worldometer site first. According to them, new daily cases are running at a little over half peak levels, but daily deaths are at highs - although suspiciously flat with 38, 38, 38, 38, 38, and 37 deaths recorded over the past 6 days. If we believe those figures they do compare favourably with UK peak deaths of well over 1,000 a day. | zho
07/8/2020 10:45 | Far easier to control the viral spread if 1) You don't have a global city 2) You don't have a transient population 3) You don't receive a transient population in large numbers each year. Kazakhstan No global city. No massive population migration each year. No massive tourism industry. | geckotheglorious
07/8/2020 09:32 | Kazakhstan succeeds against the #coronavirus epidemic The government had to take concrete and reactive measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus. For this reason, lockdown measures were reintroduced on July 5. Fortunately, the measures have had a desired effect. Within the last three weeks, there has been a significant, nearly two-fold decrease in daily coronavirus cases. This applies to almost all regions of the country. It is therefore possible to state with some caution that the situation has stabilised....... | zho
06/8/2020 09:03 | Getting there, but this needs to have a rocket up its backside to match the metals prices! | skeptic1 |
