Fair enough .. post 47481 might help . Cash costs should be well below $900 per ounce . By the way a dividend was paid during H1 .

I agree - stupid ill-thought out comments are a bad thing. Done in the frustration of the other twonk not getting the point. And it really doesn't hurt to say 'I was wrong'. Will try to do better - if only others would as well... Looking at the half year numbers recently published I think you're right on the cashflow almost covering the capex and royalties and dividends - (or getting close enough to it, given they have cash reserves). But it was only $16m of cash flow after royalties and capex, i.e. pre-dividends - so technically... One of the reasons I'm interested - much depends on a restoration of 'normal' production. As I say, trying to be a little better in terms of timing - happy to 'hold the coats' and let others be the brave ones.

So you are not going to work it out ? Dear me .. laziness is no excuse Imastu . Their cashflow will not be far short of covering all outgoings . Stop posting stupid comments unless you can provide the figures

Not calling everyone out - just one person who asserted something silly about POLY. And continued to do so. Happy to admit if wrong, and my argument isn't about CEY - I don't claim to know the full details of CEY. Maybe it's the same timing thing I called your mate out for - paying dividends out in the year after the earnings and cash were generated - they're certainly generating a lot less cash than in the prior period. Contrary to POLY and most others out there. And they're paying it (and capex) out of cash reserves rather than debt (which is a good thing). I've certainly no issue with CEY, and am following it with interest with a view to buying (and have held before) at something like the right time as opposed to way too early as I tend to do. It's about the comment made about POLY's dividend and debt - which was just flat wrong and misleading.

Imastu… “ Just stick to CEY, and consider how they are funding that dividend that they are committed to paying - it's not from current cashflow.” You are calling out everyone on here for stupid comments yet this is the most misleading of all of them . What is CEY’S FCF / their cash cost of production and the POG average this year ? Come back when you have worked it out and then tell us the dividend is being paid from debt ( which does not exist ) By the way they do over 400,000 Oz a year minimum .. just in case you don’t know

O/T Hi Steve ... Ole is an ineffective manager ...well proven now. Money buys some success but to compete at the top level, you need a decent manager like Klopp (+ the Chelsea bloke)Bruce is a nice guy, heart on his shirt, taking the cash while he can, but he.s a lightweight, 2nd division type manager at best. Mind, anyone at the Toon would struggle with that tw## Ashley - I hate him!!! Thought City shaded Lpool at the weekend - good job they havent got a striker. Kane is a great poacher, but he has zero, and I mean zero, pace. He.d still score a hatful for City mind. Grealish is a gd buy. Bit like Sterling but has a better football brain and isnt a bumblefoot. Regarding Kane, he.s lost it. I.d replace him in the England team. Trees rarely cut it

Pog looking to break towards 1600 likely going fwd. Cey will be dragged with it unfortunately. On the cards. Just how much debt can our beloved capitalist govs take on? Bojo sounds as deluded as Stevey Bruce at my my beloved Toon. Fantasy Island awaits.

I picked the fight (in fact merely pointed out the error to start with) because it was flat wrong. It developed into a handbags because the other party (and you will recognise this behaviour) just couldn't stop digging themselves deeper and also couldn't make themselves consider the possibility of them being wrong. Maybe it was the anti-vaxxer lunatic on the AZN thread - I just get irritated by stupidity and lies. You're beyond parody. Leave it Plat - bad enough arguing with someone who started it about another share than CEY; worse continuing it with a proven liar about yet another different share.
