27/7/2020 11:47 | Yeah SLP dipping to 41.82 at the open.What was that all about? | redbaron10
27/7/2020 10:44 | Interesting to see CNR up 9.78%, which albeit close to doing so, has yet to produce an once of gold. | azalea
27/7/2020 10:44 | For the avoidance of doubt, I am a great fan of and definitely over-invested in CEY already so quite happy the way share price going | ashwani01
27/7/2020 10:42 | Was that an observation, information, recommendation or a commercial break or all 4 ? :-) | ashwani01
27/7/2020 10:19 | The current dip in the share price presents a great opportunity to buy/add ahead of the U.S. buyers taking their money out of general stocks and buying gold/gold stocks, sending the p.o.g to the $1950 level. | azalea
27/7/2020 10:07 | Soltol Of course CEY's share price is geared to the price of gold. What I said was (using your term gearing) was the ratio between the two would be significantly increased by the rise in the p.o.g. relative to the rise in CEY's share price Edit: That said, I will not be at all surprised if brokers forecast of 225 -240p, is achieved. . | azalea
27/7/2020 09:51 | Larry L Gosh, your are going back some in my posts, I remember my comment, but not the context in which it was made. As for a car, I hear that AML is currently producing a range of cars tailor made to customers specifications for circa £237.000. | azalea
27/7/2020 09:44 | larry, totally agree, azalea is the new greta where do you want to live on your boat ? rose, despite stupid tree shake slp back and running up. If anyone thinks cey has a bit of catching up to do, slp, well.......miles behind | martinfrench
27/7/2020 09:30 | No I am saying cey is a geared play To gold, Surely you must know that or why invest here, so will exceed it as usual. on Sub Saharan Africa Just check out last 10 year’s growth rates which average 4.1% while Middle East inc Egypt 3.3 Europe1.7%. I have made films about it, as perception has not caught up with what is happening despite a few rogue countries | sotolo
27/7/2020 09:24 | Centamin Plc CEY.L : Jefferies raises target price to 240p from 220p | podgyted
27/7/2020 08:53 | Hi Kennyp52 What price target you would give if gold hit 2000 mark ? I am sure it will hit 2000 by AUGUST 2020. AND also your takes on SHG it has little debt and it will be debt free by December 2020. Thanks | scoble2
27/7/2020 08:50 | SLP up today too, with quarterly report. | rose_by_another_name
27/7/2020 08:49 | Azalea Every year I have been walking this earth there has been a “doomster̶ Meanwhile I want either a new car or a live on boat. If you happen to have either for sale let me know. | larry laffer
27/7/2020 08:48 | Hope a few went in to SHG, finally starting to move....just needs its final pieces of hedge to go and even more of a boom IMO... CEY think should continue to rise, despite Berenbergs downgrade! What poor timing from them have also topped up HUM and POG GLA | qs99
27/7/2020 08:40 | I won't argue over you statistics vis a vis p.o.g. v CEY sp, over the last 12 months. IF that relationship is maintained over the next 2 years I and a number of posters be delighted. However, the potential fly in the ointment of seeing that realised, could be the prediction by Alasdair MacCleod, that by the end of this year, Comex will be in default, causing the p.o.g. to soar. In which case, I doubt very much CEY share price will be able to keep up. | azalea
27/7/2020 08:06 | US dollar value relative to the pound sterling is almost the same today as a year ago. Over the past year the pog has risen from about $1400 to about $1900 - 35% increase CEY share price has risen from c120p to c200p - 66% increase | metis20
27/7/2020 07:52 | But the dollar shift is the problem.... | martinfrench
27/7/2020 07:50 | In percentage terms CEY share price should rise about 1.5 times as fast as the pog, all else being equal, and in particular assuming there is no shift in US dollar value relative to pound sterling. See my post from about a week ago - All sustaining cost of production is c$900/oz - see last RNS When pog is $900/oz share price would be very low as not making a profit. Current pog is $1800/oz so profit is $900/oz and this equates to the current share price of 190p. If pog doubles to $3600/oz profit would be £2700/oz - i.e 3 times the current profit/oz so that should support a share price of 3 times the current share price of 190p - ie 570p. Simplistic approach but indicates that a given percentage increase in the pog should support a larger percentage increase in the share price One assumption in the above is that there is no shift in US dollar value relative to pound sterling. | metis20
27/7/2020 07:42 | Sotolo A. So are you saying that CEY share price will match the % rise in the p.o.g. If so, I shall be delighted if you are proved right. B. Which countries in Africa of economic potental/significanc | azalea
27/7/2020 07:18 | I think the mkt will wait for azalea's take on things before moving it higher | martinfrench
27/7/2020 07:17 | You would think so...but this is cey. I'm a little light in cey, but very good slp update so should be a really good day | martinfrench
27/7/2020 07:15 | Breakout coming !!! 2 ++++ | amaretto1 |
