25/7/2020 13:53 | pleaty1 I do not have any idea about the procedures and timing of when the company sells its mined gold., What is known from a recent company announcement, is it does not necessarily sell all of its mined gold in one go. Given the forecasts for the p.o.g no doubt a very smart practice to adopt. The attraction of CEY for me is that its listed on the LSE, pays a dividend and unlike a number of gold miners, is a well established gold producing mining company, with no debt, significant cash and fully exposed to the P.o.g. In which case, given the forecasts for the p.o.g. over the next 6-36 months, it represents a very attractive investment. Accordingly, I do not expect CEY or any other company to match the rise in the p..o.g, but I do expect it to provide me with a large profit in the medium term. er t | azalea
25/7/2020 12:20 | Azalea the cey expert...so how long you been watching cey, 1 month ? | martinfrench
25/7/2020 10:47 | Anyone able to answer my post 38676. I think it is more relevant to know the time frame of sales to understand how long the pog rise needs to hold to benefit CEY. TIA | pleaty1
25/7/2020 10:10 | Listening to a number of the financial topics being aired on You Tube, I am getting a distinct feeling that more commentators are beginning to realise that a broad swathe of the U.S. economy is heading for a significant downturn, ranging from DJIA, S&P 500 and Nasdaq stocks, to rising loan defaults. Whilst the Falling main market indexes are seen to reflect the increase in number of companies filing for Chapter 11 which including Pizza Hut, and unconvincing Q2 numbers being reported by others, is being reported that the six largest U.S. banks have collectively laid aside 36 Billion dollars as a cushion against millions of loan defaults. With the Democrats and Republicans reportedly unlikely to finalise all the elements in the second stimulus package until next month, it will cause tens of thousands of eviction notices to be filed on August 1. With small businesses having spent their first stimulus cheques, even more are likely to close in coming weeks adding to the already rising number of unemployed, caused by significant rises in covid-19 infections and deaths. With regards to CEY , it was interesting to see the rare event of the share price standing firm on Friday, a day which ordinarily witnesses a rush to the door by traders and others, taking profits. | azalea
25/7/2020 07:30 | Peter Schiff in his latest podcast, slams CNBC for deliberately failing to recognise in its broadcasts the significant increase in the p.o.g , and painting a negative picture for its viewers on its future potential to go higher. Apparently CNBC believes a weaker dollar is a good thing, when in reality it food prices are higher and imported goods more expensive. He says that if you think Trump's presidency has been good for gold, wait to see what happens if Biden gets elected. | azalea

24/7/2020 17:43 | With all three U.S. main indexes significantly in the red for the second consecutive day,the value of the dollar v Yen falling from Mondays 107.31 to currently 105.83, unemployment numbers reversing the downward trend, whilst reportedly the Democrats and and Republican are still debating the format and value of the second stimulus package, U.S. markets are going to need a big fix for itself, never mind the pandemic. | azalea
24/7/2020 16:27 | The markets want a quick fix for this pandemic. They aren't going to get their wish (sad for mankind though that this is the case).Meanwhile all they have is uncertainty and Trump rhetoric to go on.PMs are as good as anything to be invested in right now imho | redbaron10
24/7/2020 16:26 | Yes. but who wants a modest £2+, when there will be much more to love and to hold, just a few months down the road. | azalea
24/7/2020 16:17 | Azelea If you are patient and wait while 1630 + auction you will see it bust £2..... No need to wait for $2000 pog. | larry laffer
24/7/2020 16:16 | omg, i dont think he needs to wait that long to break £2, and if comex defaults it wont be $2000 you need help azalea | martinfrench
24/7/2020 16:06 | Larry,if you are patient and wait just a few months, when Alasdair Macleod's prediction of Comex defaulting, is borne out, you will see the p.o.g hit $2000, with CEY busting easily through £2. | azalea
24/7/2020 15:38 | pleased slp are moving up, albeit like cey getting dragged along by the collar! | martinfrench

24/7/2020 14:37 | Would be good if it did hold >1900 but the fact that it has pushed through it should be enough to generate a bit of momentum. Centamin has 2 hours to do the decent thing and bust £2 and hold. | larry laffer
24/7/2020 14:09 | $1900 has arrived.Will it hold? | redbaron10
24/7/2020 14:04 | has David Icke got a picture of him on his wall ? | fenners66

24/7/2020 13:04 | david icke's got nothing on you has he azalea ? | martinfrench
24/7/2020 13:02 | gold would have been confiscated way before infinity happens | martinfrench
24/7/2020 13:01 | if gold does go to infinity, will that mean centamin might just break £2 ? | martinfrench
24/7/2020 12:41 | If both gold and silver go to infinity, they will both be worth the same. I don't see that happening, but if you think it will, it's a lot cheaper to buy silver than gold now. | rose_by_another_name |
