10/12/2018 15:41 | Fek sake PM has stopped the vote cause she going to lose wish I could change things in life so that I won every time. Now she's going to bribe all the ones against her to vote it through what a sham. | ![]() ken tennis
10/12/2018 15:18 | Hi casual -Thanks for that. - I think we might be saying the same thing here. - The LBMA of course is made-up of it's associated members. So, it's possible that there forecast is the LBMA forecast. - I'm not a disciple of Maguire but I do acknowledge his credentials as a world renowned wholesale-gold bullion trader, heavily involved at the gold-face every day, so I won't dismiss him out of hand. I'm prepared to listen and take note of his interpretation of events. That's not to say of course that he knows more than you. | ![]() rebess4
10/12/2018 15:14 | KENNYP have you bought any yet I been out for a few hours swinging the axe again for bit of exercise just splitting a few more logs for the old fire, well stocked for Christmas now. What's your target to start buying a few ? I see best buy price since first thing this morning just now at 14.53 small buy @ 101.30 Just worked my average out 101.09 | ![]() ken tennis
10/12/2018 14:31 | Re.LBMA: the official survey forecast for 2019 is not yet known. The $1532/oz was just the average of a poll of the members attending their October conference. I really don't think AM has the ability to read the minds of all those people. In January the formal forecast should be released. That will contain more in-depth analysis. Here is the forecast they did for 2018: | ![]() casual47
10/12/2018 14:24 | Drifting up to 103p again ! | kennyp52
10/12/2018 14:10 | As far as I know they haven't published the survey yet but as far as I understand the LBMA doesn't take a position itself. All it does is get the opinion of 30-odd analysts on where they think precious metals will be in 2019 and then they take averages. In the published survey document each analyst surveyed will have a blurb on why they said what they said. So maybe AM knows that all those analysts based their high range for 2019 on Basel rather than e.g. inverse yield curve, late cycle bull run, Trump, Brexit, Italy etc. But I prefer to wait for the survey to be published (I think will be in January sometime). | ![]() casual47
10/12/2018 13:55 | Hi casual - Not contesting your understanding, but I've listened to Maguire again and he states that as a result of Basel 111 the LBMA are forecasting a gold price of $1532 per oz for 2019. - I urge everybody to listen to the tape. - The Basel 111 bit is about half way through. - cheers | ![]() rebess4
10/12/2018 13:35 | Many feel that if there is another referendum we will vote to stay in. But, what if the result is the same, where would that leave everything? - Pressure for a third referendum perhaps. | ![]() rebess4
10/12/2018 12:49 | At $1300/oz chances are 2019 divi will be at least 10 British pence a share, that's more than just a nice wee bonus... | ![]() casual47
10/12/2018 12:45 | Ken T ... nice position to be in but the share price gains are what I am after . The dividends are just a bonus for me . Still waiting to get back in ... I am not the patient type ! Saint Theresa is too stubborn to lead ... and a fool to boot . Sooner she's gone the better . | kennyp52
10/12/2018 12:21 | Cheers Casual :-) | ![]() stevedaytrader
10/12/2018 11:29 | 2018 results and divi declaration should be 31st January. | ![]() casual47
10/12/2018 11:20 | You mean EMRA payment? Any day now. Can be as late as last week of the month. There has been no shipment news since the last one I shared here. This is nothing unusual, e.g. in September there was only one shipment publicised yet that's the month they did so well. Q4 production, 2019 guidance, updated R&R should be early January, last year it was 10th January. | ![]() casual47
10/12/2018 11:17 | hi Casual47- when’s the next set of results due? cheers | ![]() stevedaytrader
10/12/2018 09:41 | Congrats Ken T ... that’s more important than shares mate . Yep still waiting .. might drip feed in . Still think a lot of uncertainty around CEY for some more ups and downs so will sir on fence . ITV looking cheap . LLOYDS.. I’m still in aswell 😳 | kennyp52
10/12/2018 08:50 | $1246. Production met 120 ; under goes back to 92 ? So much uncertainty . | kennyp52
10/12/2018 08:39 | Spacedust: Re:what the gangsters want: $1,253 this morning so far. I am in complete agreement with you. Keep it simple. "Buy low, sell high, take the profit." | ![]() cinquepercento |
