Risky strategy Ken. If non farm payrolls bad data then gold up lloy down. TA on both gold and CEY point upwards...

KENNYP i think I’ve made my mind up after a little thaught.
Later today if I can sell LLOY then get into CEY @ around the 100 mark or lower I only need it to reach 112 and I will have made my loss back.
I really think it’s achievable quite easy if brexit goes tots up.
It’s all a gamble I know but I don’t see LLOY moving anywhere like what CEY will. I mean we’ve hit 112 already when lucky SPACEDUST sold out last time.
Always do your own research cause once the buttons pushed it on your head so to speak 🙏🙏

TA on gold suggests $1300 quite soon!! When that happens hello 120p for sure then if gold holds over that 140p by results?! Could it be the payrolls data today that pushes it, or the brexit vote, or something else? Definitely favour GOLD at the moment.

Hmmm I got 15k Lloyds and tempted to ditch. Trouble is any good news they go straight to 57p. Their profits are going to be high post PPI . Damn ... which one ! I was tempted to do a sneaky deal at 100.60 but still rising ... to where ? And will it reverse to go again . Will Christmas happen . Oh fek it .. time for a walk

Ken tennis, CEY is the one, we're due a bounce to 115p at least. Quick before it's too late. Gold now $1243...and rising...

Kenny what is that lack of them.

I got 30k shares in LLOY and I’m down 12.5 % and it may get worse on or after Tuesday, I can’t see lloy pulling my loss back in the near term so I might just sell and chuck it on either CEY CAML FRES or GLEN as there’s no stamp to pay and the divis are equally as good.
What one is the big question

kennyp52, yes the interview was with Josef El-Raghy about Centamin. I'm surprised he's quoted target numbers for next year in an interview and they've not released an RNS to similar effect. On the upside it does mean you can still buy shares at around the pound level :0)

Could gold be 1300 next week if brexit vote isn't passed. I think the banks will take a pounding.

2019 bad year for banks in UK
2019 great year for gold stocks

KENNYP I did ask STRUTT if he could teach me how to get in that low but he declined to divulge his secret.
STRUTT well done by the way I’m joking bout the secret.
If I had sufficient funds free to trade I would have been in as well this morning.
Me CAMELS still in profit but not by enough for me to change ship with some of the funds yet.

97/98p is where the chart pointed to, MM's read charts, so it's possible they take the bid down to what suits them, and if enough people trade the chart that's exactly where the share price will go.. sentiment/momentum is often chart driven when the fundamentals wait for some news confirmation which we are.. POG is going our way now from 1200 so it's reasonable to expect the share price to turn up from here..

Anything can happen in a sell off tho', but it's interesting to note that the FTSE100 is now at the same level it was on Xmas eve 1999...!

Do you think they took that down to hit 97 trying to knock some of the stops out because gold is holding up well in current climate.
