This rise is probably off the back of the Denver presentation by Andy Pardew. It will be released on Friday and I`m sure it will confirm the company`s projections for the year only a day before the end of the 3rd quarter. It has to as otherwise an RNS would have been required to coincide with the presentation. The market makers have run the price down from 170p a few months ago with the help of some of the analysts and now they can sell over the coming months at a good profit. Bonuses all round. The same thing happened last year when they ran the price down to 116p in the 4th quarter and then it rocketed to 170p in 3 months.

It would be nice to think this has bounced. Quite what the share price is doing down here is a mystery to me. Frankly, I'm surprised we've not become a takeover target.

I've held on and off (mostly on) since 2011. It has been, and remains, my most profitable investment of any individual share.

Definitely overdone for such a profitable company with no debt. We need q3 production and law 32 would also help. I think some investors just want massive opportunity shares and neglect companies like these as boring. I see there could be some short term head winds with interest rates and QE withdrawal. But who amongst us thinks a rate rise isn't going to put more pressure on indebted nations and populations? Yellen may be the last sane person in government but she has a hell of a task ahead of her

190 to 135p in 6 months while gold has increased by 12% . Most miners are the same so what is going on ? I would say most of the fall must be over - techs also say that but then they did when it was 150

Gold has dropped by $45 over the last few trading days plus the pound is strong. Throw in some institutions off loading & it amounts to a perfect storm to drive the price down.
